They need to screw 20 million folks so they can fund a huge tax break for the wealthiest - because, you know, "Trickle Down" didn't work because the rich didn't get ENOUGH money.

Simple. No Republican voted for obamacare and the party as a whole was powerless to stop it. Hence the disastrous obamacare falls on the man himself and the party that blinded supported the worst law ever unleashed on this country.

And this doesn't even consider that these increases don't include the SUBSIDIZED amounts for plans for lower incomes!

YES, premiums have increased, but not at the same rate they did BEFORE Obamacare. Rates have ALWAYS increased which is why we needed Obamacare. Again, proving my point that the "free market" in this case failed.
Obamacare plans increased significantly in the last 2 years, which skews the data your posting in this graph, but that was because Marco Rubio and John Boehner defunded the risk pools which purposely drove up premiums for Obamacare plans. This was solely caused by the republicans defunding the core for Obamacare for insurance companies. It was a genius move because it still has people such as yourself blaming Obamacare for the problem, when in reality it was purposefully broken for political gain, and you fell for it to help them destroy something that actually could have helped.

Please note that rates for insurance have been growing faster that wages for MANY YEARS. And if the right was being honest they would show the projections from the CBO that showed that rate slowing, and even catching up in 2019-2020. But there is a reason that your graph stops in 2014.......

Look, we all know healthcare costs are out of control. So what are we going to do about it ? The republican plan is to go back to the "Free Market" which we all know didn't work. Thats not even up for debate. The costs of healthcare in this country were dragging down the entire economy. So please tell me what is your idea to fix it ?

I guess you missed the point where I don't frankly give a **** who's money is taken to support healthcare for all. Rich people have more then enough, that's my opinion, and it isn't going to change. No one needs 5,000,000 a year in income. Especially not when they claim they need the tax break to create jobs when they do the exact opposite - offshore their income to self enrich.

I have zero trust for them, and even less respect for them, when they **** on the society that enables their wealth in such a preposterous manner.

Stealing their money? They're paying a debt they owe to the society that enables their wealth. Sorry it makes you upset that that is the reality, but it IS the reality, like it or not.

The rich can suck a fart out of my ass. I pity them none, nor do I care to hear their mewling, bitching and whining, after decades of lies that have resulted in economic death spirals all so a few of them can have a few more cars.

Wasteful scum, one and ****ing all.

Out Debt is born out of the unpaid wars we've started and unrealistic Low taxes to fund our government.
We need to raise our taxes to what they were 40 years ago and not put the burden on states.

Instead we've just put our expenses on our USA credit card instead of paying for what we need.

I didn't say it was. I said you would hate it just because it was proposed by Trump because you're inconsistent with your hatred.

I'm a firm believer in the concept of free markets. I think for many things, the free markets work. But you can look at the healthcare free market of the last 3 or 4 decades and realize that the free market didn't work when it comes to healthcare and healthcare insurance. I don't know what the fix is. It isn't the ACA. But it definitely isn't what the Republicans put together. Probably a little combination of both. But since neither one actually addresses what was broken in the free market approach to healthcare costs and insurance, neither bill is actually a fix.

Let the keyboard nerd warriors eat their cake. They know everything, DUH. It never dawns on them that obamacare hurt a hell of a lot more people than it helped.

Isn't being 55 years old a preexisting condition?

Then stop buying their products since you're so offended by their wealth. Go make your own. Molonlabe's right, you do sound jealous. Very jealous.

It's fundamentally wrong to steal from Peter to provide bandages to Paul.

    Debunk that.

I'm not jealous. I have a good enough life. I am happy with my income, my wife's income, my home, property, and all the trappings therein. I do not need more, nor do I desire more.

I simply do not believe that others are entitled to more at the expense of everyone else. I do not believe monetary wealth is more valuable then caring for the sick and needy.

I am not a Christian, but I believe that is a Christian tenant, and it is very hypocritical of right wingers, generally the more religious of the two ideologies, to claim to be Christian then do this sort of habadashery.

No. I never said that. Where did you get that idea from.

I'm 53 years old and have had a full-time job since the 80's and never have been on any government programs.

Is it stealing other peoples money to build a road? Is it stealing other peoples money to build a ship? Is it stealing other peoples money to provide healthcare for congress?

    DUH is right.

I've been asking the self-styled geniuses in the Babeuvian Illiterati this question for years: If FullRetardCare is so great, why isn't everybody in America dumping their HI and HC plans to get a piece of that "progressive" turd?

Heck, I bet a lot of them didn't dump their HI & HC plans to get a piece of that turd, but they're defending it anyway. It's become a "progressive" sacred cow so it has to be defended regardless of how badly it is failing. Such insanity has to be seen to be disbelieved...:omg:
