Yeah, tens of thousands of illegals VOTE in one state out of fifty -- Texas -- and it means NOTHING to you or your faction.

And you on the Left why people like me on the Right think of you as "America-hating" hyperliberals...?! If you turn a blind eye, or just flat-out deny the importance of an enormous outrage like this, then exactly what ARE you, Jake...?

    About the Office
The Secretary of State is one of six state officials named by the Texas Constitution to form the Executive Department of the State. The Secretary is appointed by the Governor, with confirmation by the Senate, and serves at the pleasure of the Governor.

The first Secretary of the Republic of Texas was Stephen F. Austin.

The Secretary serves as Chief Election Officer for Texas, assisting county election officials and ensuring the uniform application and interpretation of election laws throughout Texas. The Office of the Secretary of State also provides a repository for official and business and commercial records required to be filed with the Office. The Secretary publishes government rules and regulations and commissions notaries public. The Secretary also serves as keeper of the state seal and attestor to the Governor's signature on official documents.

It is likely a good assumption, this whole election processing is run by the Rs of the state.

In fact, Fake News has a very long half life.

"Looking back, however, we must admit that we allowed ourselves to get sucked in too far by Claas Relotius. We were uncritical with him in ways that we would find unacceptable when it comes to the reporting on which our publication is based. As an institution, we are generally known for not providing the benefit of the doubt to anybody. When it came to Relotius, however, we seemed to have fallen for just about everything.

As things stand today, we must assume by default that all the articles written by Relotius were fabrications, including the pieces he wrote for other publications. Even if parts of his stories are true, they are embellished with figments of his imagination. In that sense, it doesn't really help much to know which individual sentences are true or not. Journalistically, these stories have no value."

DER SPIEGEL, Claas Relotius Affair: The Lessons We Are Drawing, Claas Relotius deceived the readers and staff of DER SPIEGEL. But we as a company also failed to a considerable extent and action will be taken to rectify shortcomings., By Steffen Klusmann, David Maupilé, Steffen Klusmann, January 07, 2019 http://www.spiegel.de/international/claas-relotius-affair-the-lessons-we-are-drawing-a-1246823.html

What is odd, is you blame the left, yet the most the entire state of Texas is R.
And the ones overseeing the election process are R.

You seem to be blaming the wrong party.
See my post above. With a link to the Texas election process.

Given that professional politicians like politics tend to be corrupt, rational American voters should assume that where vote fraud is easy it is rampant.

“Prosecutors said whether this case prompts elections officials to verify citizenship is an issue for the legislature. CBS11 asked Dallas elections officials to comment on the case, but they have not gotten back to us.

The jury also gave Ortega a $5,000 fine.Prosecutors said whether this case prompts elections officials to verify citizenship is an issue for the legislature. CBS11 asked Dallas elections officials to comment on the case, but they have not gotten back to us.

As we discussed in the 'How would you reform the US electoral system?' thread, give everyone a free voter ID card on their 18th birthday which they can use for all elections.

The radical Democrat 'disease' thrives in Texas today! Examine them at work in strongholds like Travis County, Dairy -- they wrecked Rick Perry's candidacy for president with a completely fraudulent lawsuit that was thrown out of court as recently as 2016. Yes, Texas was staunchly Conservative and largely Republican 'back in the day', but just a couple of months ago, they almost elected an empty-headed, unaccomplished NOTHINGNESS like "Beto" O'Rourke as a United States Senator!

Democrats are strong in the Lone Star State now -- especially in Bexar and Harris Counties (San Antonio, Houston), and throughout the southern part of the state, where all the illegal aliens still congregate. Trust me, Dairy, I'm an old native Texan, a former taxpayer in Travis County, and I'm so old that I can remember when being a Democrat in Texas was actually a noble, honorable, patriotic, America-loving thing to be. That was a LONG time ago....

The Texas Democrats are just reusing the California model. We have documented Illegal Aliens voted by the hundreds since the 1990's and nothing was done about it. Nothing. Today, we have Democrats "collecting" absentee ballots by the thousands and turning them in. This same practice is illegal in North Carolina and other state, but happens here in California, I think the Democrats have moved that game to Nevada and Arizona too. Does anyone ever wonder why ALL of the late breaking ballots in California go Democrat? Even in Orange county? Why they did that in Florida? Who also allows the Democrats to pull that ballot collecting by private citizens... by the THOUSANDS.

So you admit, then barriers are effective. As they do what they are suppose to. Which is keeping the majority out.

They didn't say illegals. They said non citizens. We have many non citizens that live legally in the Country. That doesn't mean they get the Right to vote.

In 2018 they prosecuted 33. From 2005-2017 they prosecuted 97. Quite the uptick.

Should the left be given a pass for registering non citizens and illegals?

Agree. But Democrats in Congress do not want to stop this invasion, it means far too much to their base of power to get them voting and to swing the election in their favor. Without those votes, they would lose a ton seats. We have a good number in Congress who are actively working to undermine the country. It is a recipe for disaster.

You say illegal votes aren’t harvested and you say it as fact. If it’s a fact then you’re the one who needs to provide proof.

This is a lie, or some one would provide the proof of it: "DEmocrats and liberals masqurading as indépendants want more illegals to get in."

Illegals voted just like obama told them to. Without the millions who voted in California Hillary would not have won the popular vote.

    we quite demonstrably do not.

    no it isn't.

But the majority of illegals come in legally, and overstay their visas. A wall does nothing to address that. A wall is easily defeated with ladder, rope or shovel.

republicans don't want to do anything about it either. It's why they didn't even PROPOSE any kind of bills in the past 2 years, even though they had complete control of congress and the white house.
