Guns were not used in any of these assaults.

Our society failed to hold those committing the assaults accountable, so the number and frequency of them increased.

Later, when GUNS were used by victims of the next wave of the Polar Bear Hunting assaults, the number of those assaults finally began to tail off...

    Go Figure.

Because the gun laws are not uniform nationally. An area outside of a city that has strong gun laws is doomed to failure if other areas have weak or no gun laws at all.

No, the problem is gun laws only make victims of Law Abiding Citizens.

The problem is the intent to do violence against the innocent, and the courts and public prosecutors using Racial Agendas to selectively enforce the laws against inciting and committing violence.

A.G. Eric Holder, Shamir Shabazz and President Obama should all be in Prison!

So, let me understand your argument. If it is possible to violate a law, that proves that law isn't working and we shouldn't have it. Therefore, since people CAN rob banks, steal, rape or murder, there shouldn't be any laws against them, as "criminals' will just violate them anyway. Have I got that right? or how have I got that wrong?

No they don't. If you are a law abiding citizen, you'll have no problem obtaining a permit for a gun. My friend applied for a pistol permit, coordinated it with getting his pistol from the gun dealer and had his pistol after only 12 days.

Why not just ban murder? I am sure such a ban would be effective.

Why would such a mass shooting occur in California? They have strict gun control.

LOL, you don't even know the whole story yet get on your bandwagon for more oppressive laws for law abiding citizens. Yes, I am sure the Police Chief is so much more naive than you are.

Welcome to blue state Utopia,

They are all doomed to fail regardless, because we have bordering nations and we cannot control their laws.

Wrong. Owning a gun is nothing like committing a violent act against a person.

One word, Chicago. Extremely tight gun control, extremely high gun crime rate.

Think of it this way. A law against murder does not affect me. I am not a murderer. A law against rape does not affect me. I am not a rapist. A law against robbing banks does not affect me. I am not a bank robber.

A law that limits my freedoms affects me. I am a free man. You cannot compare a law against a crime to a law that limits my freedom that affects no one.
