Do you look after children in accordance with the Bill of Rights for Children?

Do they get to go into their room, lock the door, and monitor your online activities all day?

Not drop out, it was for TV and I was learning a lot of stuff but grades did not translate.

Also it was in Canada so it would be my first time in the states.

I look after mostly babies and toddlers so, no, but I would raise my children like that once they started asking for more freedom.

You think that improves the situation? You are 5-6 years behind your contemporaries....

There is a difference between exposure, and mandating involvement. 'Protecting' a child from religion until they are 18 is a disservice.

Like the freedom to lock themselves in their room all day and monitor your online activities?

Yes because having traditional classes more like high school will work better.

Everyone would benefit from 4 years of free or reduced.

No, only people who feel that other people should be paying for their education.

Ans since you 'dropped out' of trade school in Canada, are you an US citizen, or a Canadian Citizen?

US, The trade school was 4 times cheaper than the college I would have gone to but it was to expensive.

I learned how to do all everything having to do with tv prodcution and editing/filming. Grades are not everything. Honestly it would be better if grades were done away with and everyone got the full course and then at the end employers could test them to see if they have what they need.

Yeah because having people with no post high school skills is better.

You could ask 100 different people at random and likely no one could tell you what the 3A does. Education sucks in the US.

You do realize being understanding and translating that to tests is different. Testing is flawed as ****. If you are doing memory then yeah test but if you are learning skills then a paper test does not suffice

If you get a real job someday, and the boss tells you to write up a report, be sure and give him the lecture about learning skills and understanding and translating, and then offer to do the report in the form of an interpretive dance routine.

The problem with American today is too many people are demanding too many rights. No one talks about duty, responsibility, etc.

    “My rights were violated!”

Everyone has their hand in the cookie jar and no one is in the kitchen baking cookies.

This is especially true of the "socialist democrats", and their vision of a socialist utopia.

They all picture themselves in comfy chairs at the Politburo deciding which animals are the most equal, and they never imagine themselves out in a field picking turnips.

They do not need any more than they already have.

With some small detail changes I would support such an amendment. There are a couple of others, too.

Why would you put the onus on the employers? There has to be some level of expectation of the candidate to have applied themselves to their studies.

While book learning isn't the end all, it gives a basic line for an employer to expand upon. You could have also done an internship to get experience at it.

But all that aside, why do you think other people should be paying for your education?

Both of mine started working outside of the house at 15 (and not by me making them).

    Read the article you linked.

An additional question is, who was paying for the care?
