Here's another interesting question for all of you Paul fanatics.

Ron Paul plans to eliminate the Department of Commerce. Should that happen just how will interstate commerce be uniformly regulated?

You typed the following earlier:

'Off topic and not germaine to the issues being discussed. Start a thread about the US violating international law if you wish but stop trying to deflect this thread off topic. Thank you.

http://www.politicalforum.com/4897766-post31.html

How exactly were the other points not germane and your question is?

It's a question for Paul supporters, just like the other two questions.

Care to answer it?

Ask Ron Paul...that's my answer.

Now answer mine.

How is your question 'germane' with the original questions you posted?

Or is this yet another question you are apparently afraid to answer?

All three questions relate to Paul's stated positions and ask how Paul plans to effectively implement those positions.

From your reply it's apparent that you don't know how your candidate plans to implement the positions he advocates. Hopefully, someone who is a bit more informed will provide an answer.

Oh, and it's spelled germaine.

I am not going to answer your questions if you cannot bother to answer mine.

I would advise you to do less assuming....like with your spelling...

try buying a dictionary before you open your mouth again pal on spelling...it's spelled 'germane'.

Definition of GERMANE

1
obsolete : closely akin
2
: being at once relevant and appropriate : fitting <omit details that are not germane to the discussion>
— ger·mane·ly adverb

SHEESH...the guy corrects me on my spelling and then spells the word wrong.

BTW - regulate interstate commerce?

I highly doubt you even know what the Department of Commerce does.

'Mission Statement
The U.S. Department of Commerce promotes job creation, economic growth, sustainable development and improved standards of living for all Americans by working in partnership with businesses, universities, communities and our nation’s workers. The department touches the daily lives of the American people in many ways, with a wide range of responsibilities in the areas of trade, economic development, technology, entrepreneurship and business development, environmental stewardship, and statistical research and analysis.

To drive U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace, the Commerce Department works to strengthen the international economic position of the United States and facilitates global trade by opening up new markets for U.S. goods and services. Here at home, the Commerce Department promotes progressive business policies that help America’s businesses and entrepreneurs and their communities grow and succeed. Cutting-edge science and technology at the department fosters innovation, and a focus on research and development that moves quickly from the lab to the marketplace generates progress and new 21st century opportunities. No matter where businesses are in their life cycle, whether just getting off the ground or looking to expand into overseas markets, the Commerce Department is singularly focused on making U.S. companies more innovative at home and more competitive abroad, so they can create jobs.

The Commerce Department also provides effective management and monitoring of our nation’s resources and assets to support both environmental and economic health. Through critical weather monitoring, weather forecasts and resource preservation, the department protects not only public safety and security but also our oceans, coasts and marine life while assisting their economic development. Other essential operations conducted by the Commerce Department include the constitutionally mandated decennial census, which serves as the basis of America’s representative democracy, as well as the system by which businesses and innovators secure intellectual property rights. The Secretary of Commerce leads the department’s efforts, overseeing a $7.5 billion budget and nearly 47,000 employees worldwide.'

Like your 'germaine' comment...I seriously think you often do not know what you are talking about before you start typing.

One hour and thirty-two minutes to come up with a copy and paste yet still no answer.

Paul would be so proud.

I already said..you won't answer my questions - why should I answer yours?

But I have shown that a) you probably do not even know what the Department of Commerce does and b) you correct people on their spelling when you do not even know how to spell the word in question.

How very sixth graderish of you.

I'm fully aware of what the DoC is responsible for. My interest is in how those responsibilities would be fufilled if (and this will never happen) Ron Paul won the White House.

Here's another question for all of you Paulbots.

Paul wants to do away with the Dept. of the Interior. How will that effect Indian tribes who have federal treaties? What about the national parks? Who will take care of the vast national park system?

Lol...this from a guy that refuses to answer question after question of mine.

No you're not.

You typed the following:

'Ron Paul plans to eliminate the Department of Commerce. Should that happen just how will interstate commerce be uniformly regulated?'

It has little to do with interstate commerce.

So let's recap...you refuse to answer simple questions, you tell people how to misspell words and you claim you know what the Dept. of Commerce does when you clearly don't.
And that's just for starters.

What a complete waste of my time you are.
