    They wont. They will howl for his but have just as much (if not more) to hide, as he does.
    While I am a Trump supporter, I wont say him not releasing all of them (remember, Maddow had one year, that showed he paid, very large amounts)is not fishy. I want to see ALL of our "public servants" returns.

    Actually, to enforce the emoluments clause of the constitution which pertains only to the president, tax returns are pretty much needed and this is why come hell or high water Trump's taxes will be seen by congress. I would agree that the clause should be applied to any public servant but unfortunately it is not. So no, they are not under the same legal obligation as he is. The grunts get their taxes reviewed for security purposes and states are now beginning to require their elected officials to comply as well but as it stands, the Constitution allows each state to choose their reps as they see fit and it would be nigh on impossible to impose a nationwide requirement to release tax forms.

    Am I to assume that those people objecting to the obscene amounts of money earned (legitimately through booksales etc) by politicians are joining the Socialist cause?
    Obviously, corruption should be stamped out but why the angst over legally obtained wealth?
    What about atheletes? Many of them become extremely rich just for playing games they love (often while claiming they would do it for free).
    If only there was a system to take money from the obscenely wealthy and redistribute it for the public good. It would be taxing to come up with a name for this system but no one really needs to earn billions while others live on the streets, do they?
