Perhaps we soon will............. I saw a documentary a year or two ago that went into the astonishing changes that occurred in foxes that have been bred for their fur. All this happened in less than a century.

    Extremely well said!

Although I do believe that there was an Adam and an Eve.... I also think that there were people on earth well before they were created.

Did those other people die when Lucifer led a third of the angels in an attempted take over of heaven?

I am not sure but near death experiencer Dr. Richard Eby does give some fascinating insights on that event!

I have read perhaps ten of Edgar Cayce's books and I can't argue with that man! His explanations for some really troubling questions....... are off the scale insightful and more logical than what I had been taught as a teenager.

Just a few days ago I read his explanation for "the void" that many NDErs report viewing. His explanation for it was exceptional...… and his ideas on what happened over the past several hundred thousand years with us humanoids....... even ones that may have predated Adam and Eve of the Jewish Bible........ was also exceptionally insightful!

Well........ to some degree that might even turn to be partly my fault??????!!!

I just happen to have a rather large mole on my right side….. that would seem to correspond….. with where probably the rib that was made into Eve…. might have came from…… near the bottom of the rib cage??????

At that time I basically dismissed it but then about a decade ago I read……

Skeptic.com has a good article on Edgar Cayce....who was to New Age Christianity what Erich von Daniken was to UFO cultists.

I get a completely different message from the bible story of Adam, the ultimate romantic, mainly a woman trumps God and heaven!

Chronologically, Adam was not separated from God by sin until AFTER Eve was created. So before Eve was created, Adam was in a heavenly state of physical perfection, without sin, in paradise, and one with God. Adam is the ONLY human being to know what it would be like to be without sin and one with God!

Adam chose to be with Eve and eat the forbidden fruit of knowledge rather than spend an eternity ALONE with God. Adan knew before he ate that choosing Eve meant incurring 1. the wrath of god, 2. the expulsion form paradise, 3. he would endure sickness, 4. and he would die. But even with all this baggage Adam, a one woman man, chose Eve over God. If that doesn't make Adam the ultimate romantic, I don't know what will.

So how could Adam have been so "alone" it was "not good" BEFORE he was separated from God by sin??????
God saw Adam was lacking a mate and created Eve, but how could Adam have been lacking anything while he was without sin and one with God??????

Gen 2: 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

The bible says that in heaven we will have no mate, so heaven will be the eternal loneliness of being one with God.

Matthew 22: 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

    To add to edthecynic's point-

After all these years, I see that I was mistaken about Eve in the beginning; it is better to live outside the Garden with her than inside it without her.-- "Adam's Diary" by Mark Twain

That is very interesting. I had never seen that quote or heard of that book. I'll have to read it.

True..... .he is all of that and maybe even some more........... But it is astonishing how well the Edgar Cayce material corresponds with the Dr. Ian Stevenson research.... the Helen Wambach Ph. D. research..... the Dr. Chet Snow research.... and many more?!

As a Christian I went through a time when I basically ruled out "cryptomynesia" as a possible explanation for this and now I am down to basically two plausible explanations that could fit with the weight of evidence.

Edgar Cayce was either actually capable of accessing what he termed "Akashic Record" which is a massive video tape library in higher dimensions of all events in all lives of all humans........ and more than that......... or Edgar Cayce was being fed information by those "Hungry Ghosts" that Joe Fisher wrote about????!!

I don't and probably can't know the final answer to which one of these explanations is accurate...... or at least closer to the truth.... but my belief is that Edgar Cayce was truly on the side of light - love - truth - hope- gratefulness..... and all the good and positive stuff??????!!!

I absolutely love this quotation!......... These friendships that we make during this relatively short trip down to four dimensional space time......... are truly of astonishing value............ The Satan who stabbed Adam in the side with a spear.... could just as easily have been Lilith as Lucifer?!?!

And the time is coming..... when both Adam as well as Eve will be able to visit Lilith..... and bring her back into love - light - truth - forgiveness - gratefulness.... .and one of the reasons would be that in spite of her flaws...... Lilith played out her role in an Academy Award winning manner...... even though she fell into too much jealousy and anger for a while there????!!

Twain's "Eve's Diary", "Adam's Diary", and "Letters from the Earth" were among the first real literary critical (if satirical) view of the Bible.

He raised questions about the "Garden of Eden" story that had been a part of Christianity for centuries....logical questions, no less....and began to make people think how SILLY the myth was.

As I analogized, Cayce was the "New Age Christian" equivalent of L. Ron Hubbard or a UFO "experiencer" author.....whether he was honest and delusional...or a simple huckster.

His cult followers, like cultists do of their leader or founder, excuse or ignore his many failures....from predictions to "miracle cures".

Like your support for your beloved NDEs, it basically was a way to "re-invigorate Christianity or belief" in the Modern Secular/Scientific Age, by, in his case, creating some 20th Century "prophet"....combining all the "Bigfoot" items still popular today...."Atlantis", "lost civilizations", "cures that medical science won't tell you."

In the late 20th Century we saw "speaker to the dead" John Edward....but quickly (within a few years) he was exposed as a fake who used "leading questions" to pull off his routine.

Likely some "new Edgar Cayce" won't appear in the 21st Century....except as a con-man who will reject objective observations of his "powers"....because they would quickly be shown to be fraudulent or non-existant.

    Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly think that you are onto something huge here!!!!!

I am 55 years old and the number one strangest thing that ever happened to me in my life...... involves a woman....... here is how I explained what happened to an online Rabbi friend of mine.......

A second connection is that my wife Maria Jose (Intriago) Tate was somehow told by HaShem to fast and pray for me for 35 days and she obeyed. For three days/week for four weeks she drank only fruit juices and G-d woke her up early in the mornings and instructed her to pray for me. After these 28 days she fasted seven days in a row only fruit juices. Sometimes she would fall asleep, and G-d would wake her up again and again prompt her to pray for me. I had been a mess psychologically for a decade previous to Maria Jose fasting and praying for me:

    This quotation
regarding how Eve fasted and prayed for Adam for thirty five days will help to explain why I feel so strongly about all this.

And speaking of Spring Break............. the logic of there having been an Adam and Eve back there..... fits in with chapter 19 of Christian Andreason's NDE....

    http://www.allaboutchristian.com/spirituality/

If we had all decided to remain as "a tremendous Joy filled mass of Light, Music and Love" then there would have been no need for and Adam and Eve as individuals?!

I may be wrong... but my wife is from Ecuador and my daughter in law's mom is actually from the Province of Loja where Vilcabamba, "The Valley of Longevity" is at.

It would cost about one dollar per person per year to add eighty or ninety trace minerals to fertilzer..... on a large scale...… but for the moment... if the New England Patriots were given the proper level of trace minerals...… the incidence of injuries could be shockingly decreased.

It is a long time ago now but my father in law is a civil engineer who was working on a project.....(he really did not control the project.. he just worked there).... but he saw one of the workers fall from a significant height...… get back up.. and go to work again.... seemingly unhurt?!

I wasn't joking when I began this thread over on the official Sanhedrin discussion forum...…

Post subject: Longevity, will all Jews soon live healthy for a century?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Isaiah 65:20 ¶

"There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed."

My wife is from Quito, Ecuador so I heard a lot of amazing things about this area of the world. The first time that I heard about amazing longevity was actually a documentary done back in the 1970's. This explanation may help you to know how Jewish baby boomers can live extremely healthy lives of well over one century.

    .vilcabamba.org/article.html

    ...................

Some of the Dr. Joel Wallach research seems to verify this theory at least to some degree....... if the best glyconutrients were also added to the diet of the New England Patriots..... perhaps as an experiment that is recorded on a secret film......… the results could be even more amazing........ Living a productive life of over one hundred years or so..... could well happen again.... in at least some cases.......... and some people in the future could even live to be several centuries old.... and still be active and productive?????!

(I have to admit though that living to be 930 or so.... would be a little scary)???!

Yes………. although he is not Roman Catholic he seems to be playing around in the same very high league of Christian intellectuals such as Dr. Matthew Fox……. (but not quite)…. Pastor Rick Joyner is astonishingly gifted……. but he really is Pentecostal/ Charismatic and fundamentalist…… and I suspect that when the full truth of such subjects as reincarnation are revealed to him……. which may not even occur until after he leaves this world either through his death or through the rapture……… Pastor Rick will genuinely be surprised how "New Age" Messiah Yeshua - Jesus really is!?

Could God the Father be the most emotional being in the universe/ multiverse?
Which type of project will you tend to get more involve in?

A job that you invested fifty hours of your time in over one month or a labour of love where you exerted a great deal of effort for 50,000 hours over forty years?

Now I am certainly no expert on the original Hebrew but each time that the phrase comes up about Adam begetting a son....."after his own image"... I tend to assume that he and Eve had other children...… who were from what would seem to be very different racial groups than Adam?!?!

Now to continue with reason number 3 that I have been a little concerned that I might be Adam reincarnated..... and all this pain and suffering and bloodshed.... might just be all my fault...…

    3. If there is any connection between the latter day Cyrus with Adam and/or the final Elijah it is interesting that

Nova Scotia is a: to the north b: to the west c: remote d: near islands and coast lands as Isaiah chapter 40 to 49 talk about.

    Isaiah 41:25

"I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay. "

    Isa 49:1

"Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. "

    Isa 49:12

"Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim."

    Isa 41:1

"Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow."

    Isa 41:5

"The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came."

    Isa 43:5

"Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;"

    I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

I have definitely got to research this guy Clemons?!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Twain_bibliography

It has been perhaps forty years or so since I read any amount of his writings?! Actually.... I think it was elementary school....and it was actually read to me..... rather than by me????!

Anyway..... back to reason number for for me to be concerned I might be Adam reincarnated........

    4. In the Apocalypse of Moses it states that Eve had dominion over the female animals in the south western part of the garden

while Adam ruled over the male animals in the north-east part of the garden. Again, I was born and lived all my life in Nova Scotia, while my wife was born and lived most of her life in Quito, Ecuador. This puts me in the north-east and my wife in the south-west if we look at North and South America as something of a new land, metaphorical Eden.

    The Apocalypse of Moses

In another part of this book it states that Adam was guarding the "north and the east!"

Good article on the negative side of the Edgar Cayce writings!

Thank you…… I haven't read much on the negative side so far!

    ………….
If you are interested post #7 in this thread will give you an introduction to some of the evidence that time is not limited to being one straight line…. which could explain the difference between many of Edgar CAyce's predictions and what has occurred in our time line?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/humor...2000-election-but-negates-global-dimming.html
In alternate time line Mr. Gore wins the 2000 election but negates Global Dimming….

……Could a win by Mr. Al Gore in 2000 have led to America being 15% submerged under the oceans by January 1, 2013?

Time does look like a menorah....... or tree with branches and roots... … and is not confined to being a straight line...…

In theory....... Mr. Gore's policy could have ended up greatly decreasing the Global Dimming Effect..... at the same time that it might do little to reduce a general Global Warming trend.... which could lead to rapid warming.....and of course increased cracking and sliding on the land based Greenland Ice Pack.... the world's glaciers and the outer regions of Antarctica......

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and President Bush may have deliberately allowed somewhat bad policy to continue...… because they probably had been told that the factors that increase Global Dimming..... do tend to mask Global Warming.... .which could mean within five decades we may know that that they may have had a basically good idea..... in comparison to worst possible alternative.....??????!!!

Mannatech settled the civil complaint on February 26, 2009 by agreeing to pay $4 million in restitution to clients who purchased products and $2 million to the state to cover its costs in the case. In addition, Sam Caster agreed to pay a $1 million civil penalty and steer clear of any type of leadership position or employment relationship with Mannatech for five years.[34][35] When discussing the settlement at a news conference, Abbot stated, "Bottom line, this is a warning to the general public: Be wary of phony claims of magic cure-all pills or false hope in a bottle. You could be duped into purchasing something that has no real effect and no real value."[36] Mannatech did not admit wrongdoing; settling was easier than debating Abbott, according to then-CEO Wayne Badovinus. "If they do it again, we will ensure they get put out of business," Abbott said.[37]

One year later, Mannatech Co-CEO Robert Sinnott reflected on the ramifications of the legal action, saying, "The civil action related mainly to some actions by our salesforce. We were embarrassed and also financially impacted by the attorney general suit. We learned from that chapter and it is closed. We've reached a settlement and we've paid the fees associated with it. We've done everything in our power to correct that and make sure we're in compliance in the future."

Sales people are going to exaggerate claims!

The exaggerated claims probably had much to do with how much the purchasers could earn from reselling the products………… Dr. Ben Carson himself as well as Dr. RAyburn Goen were able to afford to take high amounts of glyconutrients which is one of the reasons why they had such positive results over only about four months.

Glyco-nutrients cannot be patented so the company Mannatech……. only has a patent on variations of glyconutrients that are combined together. They have zero patent rights over any one of the eight nutritional sugars in their pure form. Which means that these nutritional sugars could be put out there at very low cost …… eventually?!

The down side to this could be a drastic reduction in share prices for Big Pharma companies which could lead to a repeat of 2008 … or even worse?!

I guess there is some truth to the old saying……"no pain…. no gain?!"

Scientific evaluation[edit]Independent commentary[edit]The opinion of independent glycobiologists is that the body cannot digest Ambrotose, as it lacks the enzymes needed.[6] Prominent glycobiologist Ronald Schnaar, PhD of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine[14] told 20/20 in a June 1, 2007 interview, "All of the sugar building blocks that we need in our body are made from the most common foods we eat."[7]

Hudson Freeze, PhD, leading glycobiologist at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute[15] said this about glyconutrients: "There are authentic, scientific studies that have looked at people drinking these kinds of materials, and it doesn't really do anything except increase flatulence."[7] Freeze is a member of the editorial board of Glycobiology, and Schnaar serves as editor-in-chief.[16] Schnaar and Freeze published a critique of Mannatech's products in Glycobiology in 2008, describing the lack of published clinical benefits of the "partially purified polydisperse plant polysaccharides" found in "Ambrotose Complex."[8]

In Glycobiology, another article described the potential for the public to be misled about the science of glycobiology by the nebulous "glyconutrient" term.[9] The authors' concern was that the public would be susceptible to the "scientific-sounding label" of glyconutrient, which may "generate a feeling of security and credibility...despite the lack of acceptance among many glycobiologists of the term." In November 2007, Science published an article in its "News Focus" section detailing the scientific controversy surrounding Mannatech.[10] It included criticisms and comments from glycobiologists, including Ajit Varki, Raymond Dwek, Freeze, and Schnaar.

According to the Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center, Ambrotose has been "promoted aggressively to cancer patients" on the basis that it can help cellular health and boost the immune system, but that "strong scientific evidence to support these claims is lacking".

Yes…. there is quite a difference of opinion on this topic.

Rayburn Goen M. D. was 87 at the time that he wrote the following article. I also saw him on a video interview when he was ninety.

He presented a powerful case that these nutritional sugars could help a lot of people.

I personally have never been able to afford to take high amounts of these other than as aloe vera juice that is quite low cost so I don't have an amazing story to tell such as what Dr. Rayburn Goen experienced….. but his article is good reason to look into this further and not simply believe what is written by people whose income may depend largely on commissions from big drug companies.
