You're not that much different. Just on opposing sides.

Because Americans like divided government. It's when there's a Republican congress that the deficit shrinks ... like in the 1990's with Clinton & Gingrich.

It's really because Republicans Barrow and spend when Democrats want to tax and spend. The only solution is to cut spending.

he says he is a Christian and Republicans believe he is a Christian, he is their moral leader of their party

I do think he had some issues growing up and that is sad, I wish he could of rose above it, but he just can't, his ego is why to fragile and damaged

First let me say this is one of the best posts I have seen in my 15 years on this forum. I respect those brave enough to take a stand against their own group. Those who speak out, stick out and are then hammered by the group that demands unwavering loyalty.

Most people vote based upon emotion and are moved by emotional appeals of politicians. Trump is a master level emotional manipulator and has a sales pitch so good that advertising schools should build curriculum on it. For example when he claimed that he can shoot someone in Time Square and not lose his supporters... that was not a compliment to them, it showed that he knew they would blindly follow him so long as he did what they wanted him to do. Trump has a deep understanding of baser human nature and uses it to grand effect. Politics is Machiavellian in that the ends justify the means and in this case the ends are a conservative agenda being implemented and the means is by any means necessary, including voting for a man they knew would be controversial and shake things up. I think many Trump supporters wanted things shook up, not only in America but also in the Republican Party.

The Republican Party you belonged to no longer exists. While I did not always agree with Republicans, I always respected their focus on moral values. Today I no longer have any respect for the Republican Party as they have abandoned their moral values all in pursuit of their conservative agenda by any means necessary.

I wonder how many Americans are like me, once respected the GOP but now see it as no better or worse than Democrats?

What a crock of self serving, vile crap. The only thing you got right is that he beat Hillary and thank God for that. In the process he did manage to reveal what whiny, gullible and pathetic bunch of sore losers leftists tend to be. And how much vile hatred they have in their hearts for their fellow human beings.

What do you have a problem with? The booming economy? Record stock market highs? Low unemployment? Conservative judges? Securing the border? Doing away with crappy trade deals? Firing swamp creatures? Lowering taxes? Reducing job killing regulations?......

The question is : why do you want to argue with results?

A real conservative is one who steals from the poor to give to the rich and genuinely believes he's doing the right thing.

I'm well aware he isn't a true conservative. Neither am I! At the end of the day, most people would rather vote trump than communist. you should be counting your blessings that Hillary didn't get elected and stop being all triggered by Donald Trump

It used to be that POTUS was an internationally respected position. A position of leadership, not just for the US, but for the world. Trump has successfully eliminated that respectful regard. He and his followers would say that's a good thing - a POTUS should not be a globalist. But I am just saddened by it. I am saddened that the qualifications for the position no longer matter. And I'm saddened that there is a swath of the country who will support him - right or wrong.

By having legislatures in their back pocket. Loopholes in the system favor the wealthy. No such loopholes exist for the common man.

How much exactly? If the hopeless retards Bernie or Squaw get in then they will crash our medical system, I plan to open a hospital network just across the border and take cash paying customers, I imagine I will be flush with rich progressives that would never allow themselves to be in a waiting room with the unwashed. People like Barbara the snoz, and George Clooney, Madonna, Bobby Dinero, all those hollywood types that tell us how to live. I will be rich rich rich.
