Personally, I am rather fond of the American Civil War. Which the AMERICANS WON.

That is something I have always had a lot of respect for with Germany - They have tried to duck what happened. They've accepted their role and we have all moved on to a more aware world

 

The United States has has a very complex way of dealing with conflicts.

There have been great victories and as well mistakes have been made when Political Leaders did not allow the U.S. Military to fight in the manner it is designed to fight.

Such mistakes were Vietnam and Korea....both Police Actions.

At this time there does not exist any Nation or even Group of Nations that could defeat the U.S. Military as long as it is used in the manner it is designed to be used.

Even Nuclear Threats will soon be a thing of the past with massive U.S. Military Direct Energy Weapon Systems.

The fact is the only entity that could beat us is ourselves.

I would just LOVE it if you were at a party I was invited too by a bunch of Aussies I worked with on a few Islands off the coast of Sumatra and I would just LOVE to watch you say something like this to them or even say something like this about us to the KIWI'S I have worked with!

You would end up running to stand behind me and beg me to tell them not to touch you!!!

The United States, Australia and New Zealand Military's and Intelligence Groups and Special Forces and Special Teams are......TIGHT! REAL TIGHT!!!

You DON"T disparage or make nasty comments about the U.S., Australia or New Zealand in front of us or them because they and we will EAT YOU RAW AND S#!% YOU OUT!!!!

The Aussies and KIWI'S know just as well as we do that we have to keep on our toes so as to make counter moves that discourage Chinese Expansionist Movements.

The thing is we all do this for one purpose....TO AVOID THE COMPLETE AND UTTER OBLITERATION OF CHINESE MILITARY FORCES BY THE U.S. MILITARY.

The Chinese PLN and PLA Leadership are in a CONSTANT Power Struggle with the still living Old Maoist Guard who still have a great deal of power and they are the one's responsible for such IDIOTIC PLANS as the abandoned attempt to Invade Taiwan in 2008, Send PLN Battle Groups in close to Japanese Islands putting the entire PLN force in an indefensible position against the Japanese Navy and Air Force....to such a indefensible that the U.S. Navy Carrier Battle Fleet COMPLETELY IGNORED THE CHINESE NAVAL SHIPS.

The U.S. Navy exists as the overwhelming Military Power in the entire Pacific as well the U.S. Air Force can strike any thing anywhere anytime.

A SINGLE U.S. Navy Carrier Battle Group contains MORE NUCLEAR WEAPONS THAN THE ENTIRE NATION OF CHINA!!!!

Problems only happen when China starts acting too big w for their britches and we mostly COMPLETELY IGNORE CHINESE THREATS....as that is all they are...THREATS....as China itself knows any attack on Taiwan, Japan, Philippians, Guam....etc....would result in the end of the Chinese Navy.

I am still waiting to hear why the Russians didn't win WW2.

Which seems to be the war that most fascinates Americans.

 

The Russian's were an integral part of WWII and the victory against Germany.

But let's NEVER FORGET....Hitler and Stalin had signed a Non-Aggression Pact and secretly Hitler considered he would need Stalin and Russia to invade North America after Europe fell.

Fortunately Hitler was crazy and attacked the Soviet Union.

But at the end of WWII and on VJ Day...Victory over Japan Day....the United States Military reigned supreme on the oceans...in the sky's...on land...and we had NUKES.

From that point and every day since all the way up to today....despite what some might have said....there has NEVER existed a time when the U.S. Military was not fully capable both Conventionally and from a Nuclear point of willing any conflict thrown against it.

At this point the very health of the WORLD ECONOMY is completely dependent upon the U.S. Military and Navy protecting International Shipping Lanes as the threat of what any Pirate would run into is too much to risk within the major shipping lanes.

Even in the shipping lanes tighter such as those coming from the Suez Canal into the Red Sea and between Africa and the Middle East....the U.S. Navy also patrols these areas as the story Captain Roberts details.

There does NOT exist any Nation with a Navy anywhere even CLOSE to the capability of the U.S. Navy as as of right now the U.S. Navy remains the worlds Ocean Police Force.

No I don't. Australia is a colony of New Zealand.

As climate change overtakes the colony, they will be seen fleeing to New Zealand in any craft that will get them across the Tasman (2000 kilometres). Many will sink. Of course the New Zealand government will have to turn the survivors back. Or incarcerate them on some god-forsaken island the size of South Georgia..

Naturally, it hopes that most of them will sink.

 

Well, America "won the war" in the sense that I don't consider the USSR winning a war to be a victory for mankind, so even though they were primarily responsible for beating the Nazis, replacing one evil psychopath with another evil psychopath doesn't really improve things. The Western Allies only "half" won since they were too scared to get rid of Stalin too.

 

Dont under estimate the strength of the relationship between Australians and Kiwis

What strength? From what I gather from my Kiwi friends, Australia is just a place to mindlessly mine for lots of money. Australia will lead climate change in a way that is likely to eliminate most Australians. Those that are left will tie koala bears together to make rafts to reach New Zealand. Where they will be promptly shot on arrival.

The bears, however, will be saved.
