Everyone involved in enabling this predator should be brought before a grand jury.

If Acosta did no wrong he should not have resigned.
I think it is fair for all of us to assume that he is dirty.

Like i said they need to investigate this fully.. If someone told him to back off we need to know who it was.

Who knows maybe Epstein was a Whitey Bulger.

It is very difficult to convict the rich in our system, but executions are becoming very rare even for those convicted of heinous crimes. Criminal justice reform is overdue, but real reform is unlikely so long as lawyers write the laws.

Did Bulger prey on children? Assuming that Epstein is smart he should be negotiating to sell out all of his accomplices ASAP

Yeah, I think the writing was on the wall with that presser on Wednesday....

The funny part is that this guy hadn't seemed to be personally benefiting from his cabinet position, an utter rarity in this administration.

Time for another 'Acting' Cabinet Position.... I hear Jeffrey Epstein has some time on his hands....

Acosta is one of the least culpable of all those involved.

Perhaps, but given his resignation he should be investigated throughly.
He should start by explaining why he did not run his deal with Epstein by the victims. He had to know that was wrong.

No he just killed people while being protected by the FBI as long as he ratted on others... So Acosta statement needs to be looked at.

Acosta's continuing presence may have evoked disturbing reminiscences of Fake Don's happy times with "terrific guy!" Epstein.

Trump's "best people" charnel heap continues to mounts:

Trump has a "revolving door of deeply flawed individuals — amateurs, grifters, weaklings, convicted and unconvicted felons" surrounding him... people were "hustled into jobs they were never suited for, sometimes seemingly without so much as a background check via Google or Wikipedia."

    Republican Trump Supporter Chris Christie

Yes, Whitey Bulger was an FBI/DOJ asset - IOW, agent.
Let us all pray that Epstein does not turn out to be another one.

Your post is very revealing. Instead of actually discussing Acosta you go right for Trump. Hmmm, could it be this is just another political hit job?

It wasn't Acosta's "deal." Everyone agrees that the nolo prosequi came from the DoJ in DC ( a guy named Ostermann?).
Besides, The :democrat::democrat::democrat: highly politicized PBC State Attorney Barry Krischer had the slam dunk case first, and chose to take a pass as the office was too busy chasing Rush Limbaugh for years over scrip shopping.

The more of Trump's people resign the more he can appoint "acting" positions without having congress get in the way. I say Rock On!
