After his news conference to explain why he entered into non-prosecution agreement with a serial rapist, I didn't figure he was long for the job. This Epstein matter is UGLY and your politicizing of it shocks me in it's lack of humanity. l’affaire Epstein is reminiscent of the Harvey Weinstein imbroglio, wherein a lot of comfortably positioned Hollywood personalities were reminded forcibly that most ordinary Americans view a powerful boss demanding sexual services from underlings with considerable horror. Bill Clinton was a more-than-frequent flier on Mr. Epstein’s personal private jet. The revelation that Mr. Epstein had many … many… many friends in political high places, lots for the prosecutors and investigators to dig into.
Anyone that abused children should receive the maximum penalty under law. I am concerned that these *******s did it off U.S. territory and I am not sure how the law works in this instance. But, I hope it is a U.S. Virgin Island and our laws apply to these scumbags.
2 reasons: 1. While the party of hypocrites is slinging poo you're not doing your duty as cabinet officer. 2. Decent people don't need to take the poo slinging. There's $$$ in the private sector. ^ The left has accomplished their goal. When the dust settles and the msm & no longer care you'll find that Acosta was the "broker" and not the final decision maker making him one of the less culpable. This wasn't a federal case until the PBPD took it to the feds 'cuz Krischer punted for political reasons.
In other words, this is exactly how our two-tiered "justice" system performs every day. It's nauseatingly familiar and fitting that someone associated with the Clintons is reminding us of this once again...
Exactly. Acosta is the only prosecutor in the land that actually prosecuted Epstein. Where were the Feds under Obama.......Sally Yates, Comey, Strozk and his lover? The local DAs in Manhattan and The Virgin Islands? It was no big secret.....Bill Maher was joking about Bill Clinton flying to Orgy Island on the Lolita Express with Epstein ten years ago. Maybe now we can move on to Epstein and his ‘guests’ at this point........but it was a great little CNN/DNC decoy for a few days.......and the stupid masses bought into it........sad
Now you see what that UK ambassador was talking about the Trump administration being inept, incompetent and dysfunctional!
I take Acosta's resignation as an admission of wrong doing. If he really is innocent he just made another mistake.
CNN focused on a missing plane for a month i think you give them far to much credit... they are far more comfortable discussing Acosta then possible "spy" influence or big names in either party.
I don't think that is a good excuse for resigning. He just needed to craft a reply defending his actions in detail, assuming that was possible, and keep referring to it while doing his job.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/12/us/jeffery-epstein-witness-intimidation/index.html Acosta team along with the witnesses were threatened.... Godamn this goes deep. "He had this team of maybe six to eight lawyers all pressuring not only the state's attorney but the feds to drop all of this, saying that they were going to make these girls' lives miserable," recalled Kuvin.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/12/us/jeffery-epstein-witness-intimidation/index.html You really need to think beyond orange man bad.
He simply doesn’t need the silly nonsense churned up by the left to deflect from the fact that Billy rode the Lolita Express 26 times.........
Well, it is normal for the left to blame others for a criminal's activity. Acosta resigning is fine, he is now a distraction. What I want to know is why and who else was involved since the DOJ and Mueller's FBI were involved and they had mountains of evidence. The same evidence they had to reopen it.
