I once believed that the Internet had democratized information, but now that the Internet Brownshirts have taken over those days are over. As you correctly observed, it's back to the monochrome days of "You get what we say you get peasant".

It would be one thing if it were just a bunch of young rebels without a clue who grew up and assumed the reigns of the establishment they once kicked around. That's been going on forever.

What makes this dangerous is that the New Left has become the authoritarian and totalitarian Old Left. When I identified with the New Left we were all about individual freedom but the progs I left behind have become the enemies of individual freedom.
