America Does not have a violence or gun problem. America has a black problem

Since the best was to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun I suggest we give guns into the neighborhoods that have this problem.

 

Uhhh that happens every day. Men on average get MUCH harsher sentences than women for the same crimes.

We're more likely to have auto accidents so our insurance rates are higher.

We even have crimes such as "assault on a female" but we don't have anything like "assault on a male".

 

The OP won't say what he is proposing. He thinks rationalizing racism somehow means it isn't racism - but won't publicly say what he thinks should be done about it because he knows that will be admitting the racism.

 

He said culture, not money. That's not the same thing.

If you're raised in a progressive environment that preaches hate, a victimhood complex and taking no personal responsibility for your life, you are far more likely to turn to turn to a life of crime. Unlike someone in China who gets taught very different values despite being around the same level of wealth.

Not enough research has been done to determine the causality in this relationship.

However, comparison to other culturally similar countries like Canada and the UK shows that violence has a much stronger link to population density than skin color.

 

Well you're right about that. Anything that tries to make whites comparable to them....... You're right in the OP too. But people don't like the truth.

I'd like to see those reports. Because from what I've seen blacks are overrepresented in both Canada and the UK in regards to violent crime.

And from the only 2 studies I've ever seen, an increase in the rate of violent crime is directly correlated to the existence of a black population.

You realize we punish men disproportionately already right?

As I pointed out above. Men get more severe punishments for the same crime as women.

Men have higher insurance rates because we're more likely to have a wreck or speed.

And we have laws in this country like "assault on a female" but we don't have a daggone thing for "assault on a male". It's just called assault and nobody gets extra time for beating up a guy.

So if it's okay to discriminate against men, why not blacks?

 

Truth? The OP tries to paint a distorted picture. If I say that 90% of Black Americans have never been involved in a violent crime - is that still the same picture?

Rationalizing bigotry and racism doesn't make it any less bigotry and racism. Judging an entire group on the actions of a small percentage of that group is bigotry. Plain and simple.

 

Actually gun owners are not that much more than 20% of the population. Many people own 10 guns..about 85% of gun owners own more than one gun

 

We should do the same thing we do with gang members. If you're part of the group and you commit a violent crime, then you receive a more severe punishment than others who commit the same offense but aren't part of that overrepresented group.

We also would need to deal with the culture issue which could be address partially by getting rid of welfare queens, food stamp babies and generations of families living on welfare.

 

Says the guy who said it was perfectly fine for us to discriminate against white people today because white people years ago discriminated against black people and unfairly funneled money to white businesses.

That's correct. We discriminate against white people and men on a daily basis with government programs, laws and policies.

Why should blacks be immune to discrimination if whites and men aren't?

 

I did not say it was fine - I said it was a fact of life. White Americans still receive the vast majority of the benefits of taxation. Black programs are very small percentage of the overall budget. Big picture - white Americans are still the beneficiaries of our society.

 

Would you also agree for sentence enhancements for any man, also sentence enhancements for poor people?
