    Whoops.

Have you ever read Carnegie's classic: "How to Make Friends and Influence People"?

There's a version of it that comes in pictures for those who arrive here straight from their backwoods whiskey still.

No I'm not. You've posted to me 3 times or so, every time you've told me you served. Big f_ _ _ _ _ deal. A lot of us served, and we don't go around advertising it.

"Ethereal: The US government is run by evil sociopaths whose lust for power is only exceeded by their hypocrisy.

And the only people who are unaware of this fact are Americans themselves. They've been convinced by the government and its stenographers in the corporate media that America is hated because of our mini-skirts and cheeseburgers, AKA, our freeDUMB. In reality, America is hated because the corrupt US government sows horror and misery all around the world on behalf of greedy oligarchs."

    Could've fooled me.

Well, "it" may have been repeatedly posted but this doesn't mean the evidence is reliable. And in any case, I haven't seen any reliable evidence on this subject - and since we're having this discussion and you're making these claims then isn't it rather incumbent upon you to provide that evidentiary support for your claims... supposing it exists in reality?

My concern here is that there are numerous European nations intelligence outfits (including predominantly my nation's) that have an interest in damaging Trump because he set out to upset their four decades of perpetuating fear of Russia, which would how they filled their daily rice-bowls. As you know I don't like Trump, so I have no axe to grind in that regard and I don't favour any political ideology. I just like factual reporting and honesty in journalism.

Well, I'm not doing the work for you.. Trump is bad news and he's always been a cheat.. He's cheated his contractors, vendors, employees, bankers, investors and wives.

Putin is one of the wealthiest men in the world and he made that money on the backs of the Russian people..

We aren't going to see eye to eye on this.

Firstly, I don't care a jot about Trump. As I said I don't care for the man. Nor it is about Putin. Not interested in either of them.

My only interest is in the evidence connected to the NYT's intelligence briefing article which, I think we'e agreed (you didn't dispute anyway) was the Steele Dossier. Which is about as reliable as Tony Blair's Dodgy Dossier providing an excuse to invade Iraq. You argued that European intelligence agencies have proven it's contents. I've read almost everything of sigificance on this story and have yet to see anything of any substance that supports your allegation about that, which is why I asked yo to evidence it. You decline to do that. Your choice.

So we'll have leave it here as simply an allegation you can't, or won't, evidence, and I'll put it my "can't remember conversations I had" file as a waste of my time.

You have responded with four post.

I only mentioned that I served once.

    Make it two times now.

From 1965 to 1973 there were just over 25 million males of military age. Roughly 40% served (8 million active duty and 2 million in the reserves or the Guard)
    No big freaking deal.
    Serving was expected.

Are you aware that there are more veterans who served between 1955 to 1965 than served during the Vietnam War era ?

"Thank you for your service" BULL SH!T
All we wanted to hear was a "Welcome home."

    Note: From 2012

The impact of the military draft is evident in the trends across age groups among men. The percentage of men who have served in the military jumps from about 20% among 45- to 59-year-olds to 39% among those aged 60 to 64, and then exceeds the 50% level among men who are older. The highest percentage of veterans (80%) occurs among men now 85 to 89, who would have been just entering their late teens during World War II and its immediate aftermath. The draft effectively ended for men in the early 1970s, helping explain the rapid drop off in veteran status among those who are now aged 55 and younger.

Its been posted many times before. Wait for Mueller... It will be money laundering, tax evasion, lying and obstruction of justice.

How is this suppose to be relevant to Col. Bone Spur the Draft Dodger in Chief and his warrantless attack on McCain's service?

    Not election rigging then?

Which is where we started out on this thread (your post No. 97 with the daft NYT's article linked: "Trump-Intelligence-Russian-Intelligence-Meddling.-html and captioned "Right From the Start, Trump has Muddled a Clear Message: Putin Interfered".

Methinks you keep switching arguments, Margot. I wonder why that is?

Btw, I have little confidence that Mueller isn't politically motivated either. Time will tell for sure, though.

Nowhere in that post did I say or imply that the US government was unique. Indeed, the entire point of such criticisms is to dispel notions that the US government is somehow unique. It's not. It's just another sophisticated gangster operation, like all state entities.

    Point 1:
The USSR and then Russia have been supporting Iran since the 1980's ... and the nuclear reactor has been built with Russian help for decades ... but as soon as the IDIOTUS is in power in Washington, it's suddenly a problem ... and for many a suddenly completely new realization that Russia and and Iran have good relations! Ridiculous!

    Point 2:
North Korea and China have been allied for more than 70 years ... so a really amazing new insight! But since many Americans have not tapped to this day that they have been in a state of war with North Korea since 1951 with a truce, what do you expect there!

And why should Russia and China subordinate to the will and fervor of the USA, eh?

    Point 3:
What a scandal, Russia has intervened in the last US election campaign! Wow! ... The fact that the United States has illegally intervened in the election campaigns of friends and foes for decades across the world is something we keep quiet about, eh?

Donald J. Trump took the political playbook and threw it in the crapper and took down 17 Republicans candidates running for President one at a time.

Donald Trump also took down the Republican National Committee.

If the RNC were just half as corrupt as the DNC is, it would be President Jeb Bush today.

Senator John McCain is a war mongering neoconservative, a liberal, a RINO.

    FYI:
Donald Trump also took down Fox News, Megyn Kelly who no longer has a career. Megyn blew it bigly as blood was coming out of her eyes.

Have you noticed that Shepard Smith is suffering from TDS and has a full meltdown weekly on Fox News.
Even fake news CNN and MSNBC are embarrassed.

The U.S. is no stranger to interfering in the elections of other countries

The U.S. has a long history of attempting to influence presidential elections in other countries – it's done so as many as 81 times between 1946 and 2000, according to a database amassed by political scientist Dov Levin of Carnegie Mellon University.

That number doesn't include military coups and regime change efforts following the election of candidates the U.S. didn't like, notably those in Iran, Guatemala and Chile. Nor does it include general assistance with the electoral process, such as election monitoring...

One possible reason might be to avoid a nuclear war with the US

Americas long term allies are South Korea, Japan and Taiwan

North Korean nukes threaten the first two and now the United States itself

Interesting ... and why does the US then start with the problems in which they try to impose their will on others? What gives you the right to do that? Absolutely nothing!
So do not come to me with the argument to prevent a nuclear war, because the only one threatening is the USA!

And just because China got that and does not agree with North Korea and its actions, it not only sanctioned it, but imposed it on North Korea, which hurt Kim the most ... and that's what Kim did then moved in to give in ... not the idiot in the White House, who ascribes himself here with the success and result of China!

Sorry we are already at war with Russia as we already been attacked by them.

My suggestion if we ever do get a real President again instead of a lap dog for Putin that we tell them that any further attacks by them will result first of all with St, Pettersburg going up in a nuclear cloud.

Find out who attacked who first, given both nations are indulging in the same attacks. And we even attack our allies too. Historical fact, when it comes to elections.

When you find that moral high ground, that isn't composed of bull manure, piled high, let us know so we can show you your moral high ground is BS.

And then stop the US, too, interfere in Russian internal affairs with the CIA & Co ... including unsuccessfully in the Russian election campaign 2017/2018?

Can Putin Trump threaten to make Los Angeles disappear in an atomic cloud if the US does that again?

And the dumb Trump followers accused the witch Hillary of being a warmonger ... ridiculous!
