Yeah ? So what are those 14 ? Chopped liver ? Are we supposed to not care about 14 girls ? Had the religious nutjobs not interfered and allowed the rescuers to do their job, those 14 girls would be alive today. And what's up with the school "watchman" ? What's his job ? To see that headscarves and abayas are worn ? What is he ? Just another Muslim looneytune ?

You don't understand the Koran or what it says.[/QUOTE]

The girls who died were killed when the staircase collapsed.

Two raggedy mutaween couldn't stop 700 girls and teachers even if they tried.

    Don't be foolish.

There are a half dozen members who just have no curiosity as to what the truth is..

Today someone posted that the EU is buying Syrian oil from AQ.. yet they didn't spend a moment to find out about Syria's current production levels.

The sources are always WND, Sodahead or Global Research or some other idiocy.

Nice try again. Oh, but I wasn't ignorant of the salient facts. And I stated them in my post, and you deceitfully pretend that they don't exist , and instead try to smother those salient facts by all your blabbering about living in SA and speaking Arabic, neither of which has a darn thing to do with 14 or more girls killed because of Islamic lunacy.

Just for the record, here are the salient facts once again >>

The BBC and the Saudi Gazette say the rescuers were stopped from rescuing the girls by the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. They say one witness saw three policemen "beating young girls to prevent them from leaving the school because they were not wearing the abaya." "Lives could have been saved had they not been stopped by members of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice," the newspaper concluded. According to the al-Eqtisadiah daily, firemen confronted police after they tried to keep the girls inside because they were not wearing the headscarves and abayas (black robes) required by the kingdom's strict interpretation of Islam. It was also reported that the father of one of the dead girls said that the school watchman even refused to open the gates to let the girls out.

No girls were beaten by any policemen..

The watchman didn't refuse to open the GATE.. not plural.. He had stepped away to get a coffee.

Nearly 700 girls got out .. down the alley and onto the main drag before the two mutaween ever saw them.

al-Eqtisadiah is only published in Arabic.

The sources about the schoolhouse fire was BBC, the Saudi Gazette, and the al-Eqtisadiah Daily, as well as witnesses, firemen, and other rescuers. If your credibility wasn't already a shambles in this forum, it would have just taken another hit.

You wrote a long post of irrelevant to the subject of the mutaween causing 15 girls to die, by stopping the rescuers, and you left a source to THAT, not to what SAUER has been asking you to confirm. GAct is the ionly thing you have confirmed here is that YOU HAVE NO link to anything that refutes the wiki report, the BBC report, the Saudi Gazetter report, the al-Eqtisadiah report, and numerous other reports, all of which say the same thing. That the uncivilized, barbaric, savage, noodleheads known as the mutawwen caused 14 (or 15) girls to die by keeping the doors closed, simply because they were not wearing their headscarves and robes.

In fact the only part of your link that even comes close to discussing this part of the story tends to confirm the BBC, Saudi Gazette, etc versions where your link says this >> "An Arab News team which visited the school yesterday found a large number of abayas (black gowns), shoes and bags left by the girls in the rush to get out of the building..." Other than that your link simply doesn't report the mutaween involvement. That doesn't refute it one iota. Who do you think you're kidding ? Now your link is MY link, to show your disingenuousness.

    1. I never claimed to be an expert on either.

    2. One does not need to to know Arabic to know about events that happen in the ME, such as the Makkah school fire, or numerous things about Islam. LOLOL yourself.

Just another ploy to distract us from noticing that her so-called "confirmed sources" only confirm the opposite of what she was trying to say, while offering nothing to refute the wiki, BBC, Saudi Gazette, et al accounts.

So? You wouldn't know a Mutaween if one flew up your nose.. and of course their abayas were left behind. Nearly 700 girls and teachers got out.

Your friend Protectionist reads it and brings it up frequently.. but he can't read Arabic and al-Eqtisadiah is not published in English.
