In my perspective, if such a thing is allowed by law somewhere in a country, than it's the entire country.

And for the "luls" it was in my news 3 days ago that they looked back to Ruby Bridges who as an Afro-American (or whatever the PC word is) on 14 november 1960 entered a school with a police escort. And because of that, 500 white children got pulled out that school by their racist parents.

And Ruby Bridges is still very alife and experienced the end of that apartheid policy in the US. It totally blows the mind of the youth of today and no doubt will refuse to believe it's such a very recent history at the start. While no doubt the parents of Ruby would never have thought the US could change so much. But it took well over 50 years.

And you just have to be more patient with SA.

The United States is 1 country, and at the time the federal government allowed apartheid to exist, means it was an apartheid state. This era came to an end when president Johnson signed the civil rights act and the voting rights act. With these federal acts, it basically outlawed apartheid.
