This does not really contribute to the discussion, since blacks are a huge group that presents a great variety among individuals. Most blacks do not live in poverty, and among the black population are Beyonce and Obama. So the answer for most people would just be "It depends". As for myself, I live in Greece, so I guess I don't count. But for the record, it's probably the average black American that wouldn't want to spend a year as the average white Greek.
What is Afrocentric culture? You think that 85% of Blacks embrace "hood" culture? You need to get out more. You don't know many Black people. Outside of the inner cities there are plenty of law-abiding Blacks who are not ghetto thugs.
If African-Americans were really as pathetic as MrNick thinks they are, we'd have been extinct a long time ago.
Then you should have a problem "walking in the shoes" of the corrupt urban politicians who have worked with the political class to systematically destroy the black American family, community and culture.
Why ?? Greece is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, how is the average Black man better off than the average Greek ??? Beyonce is not a typical Black person living in Public housing in NYC or Chicago.....
