    Btw I heard that even former officers (including some former commanders) from "Berkut" support Ukrainian people & opposition + a lot of veterans of local war so-called "Afgan"- "Afgantsi" came to Maidan.

    Rasputin was a lecher. Had he not been evil he would not have been able to make the Tsarvich well... temporarily of course. The cures were definitely not through the power of the Holy Spirit, even though the Tsarina believed they were. Rasputin was able to befriend the nobility through some Montenegrin princess' who delved in the occult, and then he befriended the Tsarina through a mutual friend.

    Her sister Grand Duchess Saint Elizabeth who was a nun, and who used her immense wealth to open a monastery and hospital, told her to kick him out before he destroyed the Tsar and the country. Instead Alexandra kicked her out. To be honest though the Tsarina had no choice. Without Rasputin, the Tsarvich would have died an agonizing death.

    During the war when the Tsar was at the front, Alexandra listened only to the advice of her 'holy man'. Basically Rasputin was running the country and the rest is history. . Do you want to know what he was doing, and don't tell me it was not evil? At the time that he was pretending to be a holy man to Alexandra, outside of the palace he was having lecherous affairs with women, and then pretending that he was having an affair with the Tsarina as well. The Russian newspapers had a hey day before the revolution, with drawings of Rasputin and the Tsarina.
