Many of those suffering from 'AAD' hate anything to do with Jesus or God and their 'in your face' approach in letting anyone and everyone know this is right in line with the #Black Brunch People--you know, where the Blacks interrupt whites while trying to enjoy a fricking meal at a restaurant by screaming in their faces about racism and slavery...

A New Jersey teenager has been battling with these atheists over the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. This offends them and they demand God be removed. Hey, I'll ask them "Do you believe in HELL? Because that's where you can go for all I care!" Get over it already!

These morons actually tried to sue over this! Well, they LOST!

This N.J. school senior Samantha Jones said, "I want the right to keep saying "One nation under God" because I believe that Americans have God-given rights, not state-given rights."

A New Jersey trial court claimed victory in their decision to favor allowing the presence of "under God" to stand in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Samantha said it's not as much about our religion as it is about our rights.

Government should be secular so that people of all religions, and none, can have equal treatment. Presumably the god in the pledge is a christian one. So it should be removed.

Do tell. I just haven't seen Christians getting into the faces of atheists the way the AAD types do with we Christians, or to sue them over their atheistic satanic belief system(s).

I have zero imaginary or real enemies when it comes to the individual, but, I do have quite a few ideological enemies when it comes to such ideals that represent socialism, communism, marxism, anti or un Americanism, anti Christian et al that have atheism as being the major portion of their ideological makeup.

Have you sought help for your ALH? Aggressive Lib Hatred is a serious disorder, and should not go unchecked.

Always find it funny when someone goes all victim mode about being hated by some group by posting
hatred against another group ... whatever, dude.

You think that I should seek help for my hatred of ideologies like liberalism, socialism and communism that are in their own right anti American to the core. Okay, I'll mull it over, but if you do define yourself as a socialist, a communist or a marxist (all anti Americans), would you then consider yourself in dire need of help from that obvious disorder?

Since I don't identify as a socialist, a communist or a Marxist - nor do agree with their ideology - nor do I hate Republicans, I guess
I'll leave the therapy time open for you.

Well, she retains the right not to recite the Pledge in total or in part ("under God") does she not?

    "Presumably" a Christian one?

Has that been established, because the atheists here are quite fond of reminding us that this is not a Christian nation.

How do you know the god in the Pledge isn't this guy:

May you be touched by His/Her/Its noodley appendage...

But schools do not have a right as a public institution to establish a religion, and references to "God" can be taken that way. This is why there is fundamental disagreement about whether it is appropriate for schools to compel students to say such phrases -- to some, at least, it is a religious statement. The abstract notion of a "God" that is not the same as the "God" that various Christians and other religious groups preach about and believe in is not always clear. I expect that these theists also think of the "God" in these phrases as referring to their religious "God" in most instances. It's the same name, so why not?

Not that you'll bother to consider any of what I'm saying. You just like to agitate.

I had assumed that the god referred to was the popular god of the time and place where the words were written, that is, the protestant christian god. Why would it be anything else?

Well, in philosophy and cosmology there is a concept of "God" that is a kind of placeholder and is not religious. The idea of our nation being one nation under God is not necessarily a religious one on this basis, but then most people aren't really aware of that. Children almost certainly are not.

I doubt that the people who drafted the pledge were very philosophical and cosmologist.....

Good point. It was probably propagated into his social media feed by Russian trolls. It seems to be a common practice, as I've seen other old stories like this revived. It's all propaganda designed to keep gullible audiences angry and hateful towards their fellow Americans.

Many atheists grew up in religious homes and still have a lot of emotional issues with religion in their childhoods. However not wanting religious statements in government sounds like a very rational position that a very level headed person can support.

Do you get a lot of atheists going door to door in america trying to de convert people then? In the UK we get a lot of the God Squad knocking on peoples doors to talk about their sky fairy. Depending on the mood I am in they often get a bit of AAD off me if they **** with my serenity.

Sacrificing virgins to satan requires lots of concentration so its their own fault when they disturb me!
