The only ones using explosives to breach a border wall would be a military or para-military unit, which would require a military response at least.

Probably using technology. Motion sensors are cheap and they can be connected. Drones are everywhere now, so there's that too.

You said the border wall is useless, is your door lock useless?

Some Democrats to dig into a stance will make dumber and dumber arguments. So this is how you claim it will work:

The smuggler bringing in a group of people will explain:

"Ok people, we are going to sneak you into the USA. The first thing we are going to do to sneak it is set off a large explosion at the border wall that can be heard for 10 miles and see for miles at night, bringing every police officer, border patrol and the US military rushing to the scene. So after the explosion, all you children and pregnant women have to run really, really, really fast, faster than trucks and helicopters."

Having to resort to "explosives" claiming this proves a wall doesn't stop people is as dumb as it gets.

That's his claim, not mine. That illegals crossing the border have explosives powerful enough to blow down a 35 foot tall steel and concrete wall.

I sense the left being very nervous about this new security. The excuses to preclude a wall are amusing, at best. Medieval castles weren't impenetrable either, but they kept building them for a reason.
They work 99% of the time, and that's good enough reason to have them.

Opponents to the wall on this thread are claiming she would be carrying a 35 foot ladder and having a lot of C-4 explosives in the bag she is holding if there was a wall - or at least a shove to dig a mine shaft under the wall.

They also are claiming she could do any of those things in 1 second, the amount of time it takes to step across the border with no barrier.

Far more effective than now, that can't be reasonably disputed

The fence should include a high voltage component to prevent climbing and a mine field behind the fence. If someone breaches the wall they deserve to be blown up. The illegal invasion needs to be halted ASAP by whatever measures are needed.

you can't place a mine field at the border. That's called murder.

You call it murder. I call it national defense. We are suffering an invasion and the country is being flooded with illegal drugs by Mexican cartels. What is your proposed solution?

OK, so you can use a ladder on one side to get to the top. Now how will you get down without suffering an injury?

They aren't enemy combatants from a country we are at war with. It's murder.
don't kid yourself, it's being flooded because of the federal government.
end prohibition on drugs, and there will be no more illegal drugs coming through the border, or gang wars over drugs.

End the so call war on drugs as no drug user in history had not been able to find their drug of choice no matter how many billions of dollars is being spend on law enforcement.

We are way way beyond the time when we should treat the drugs problems as a public health issue not a legal/criminal issue.

By the way how is this wall going to stop drones and planes from bringing in drugs?

Hell prisons now are having a hard time keeping drugs and other countrabands such as cell phones and weapons from being flown in by drones.

Hell who even need drones and planes to get drugs over a wall as catapults are now being use on the border.

    21 BILLIONS dollar wall indeed.

The "failure" of people who understand that the hope is that they will fail does not = people desperate to come here; not even close.

Interesting that they excluded the word ladder; you'd think they'd say "ladders and other climbing devices" if ladders were used, but they didn't... :)

Thanks for the joke of the day.

Hey, you just came up with a great business opportunity. Buy a bunch of ladders and rent them out to illegal aliens to use when scaling the wall. You could make a fortune until another criminal cartel muscled in on your operation.
