Oh, for sure. Especially, since we have 4 Justices (Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavvy) that are firmly in Trump's Back Pocket (As Trump Rubber Stamp SCOTUS Stooges).
Skipping over the courts, dispensing with due process, and going straight to impeachment based upon feels rather than reals. And their hatred of the Orange Man blinds them to see ahead to when they'll be tiptoeing through the minefield they're laying for themselves right now.
So what? The House DOESN'T need a per se Statutory "Crime" to approve an Article of Impeachment. ^First Grade Civics 101.
1. He has only not fully cooperated with one small portion of Congress. If he refuses to deal with the Senate then contempt of Congress might have a leg to stand on.. 2 as for abuse of power. First off what a bunch of hypocrites.. secondly the abuse of power is only true if he was attempting to influence the 2020 election. There is of course however no evidence of that. Exceedingly flimsy case on both articles.
You're absolutely correct. The House doesn't need legitimate, legally-justifiable, or even logical reasons to approve an article of impeachment. The Democrats are proving this as we speak.
Much like the Swamp didn't need legitimate or legally justified reasons to go after Trump with the Russia hoax.
OK.. it's an evasion if I don't respond to your ridiculous analogies?? Prepare for tons more evasions then, if you continue to debate that way..
+1 I do not see how any rational and intellectually honest person can support this impeachment. It fails to meet any standard at all.
It is however abuse of power for the lesser party in the lesser house of Congress , yes i mean that purely as an insult, to constantly badger a president because they cannot beat him at the ballot box. It also shows that they are subhuman slime. And Trump cooperating in such a limited fashion was smart and the right thing to do.
It's getting harder to every day, what with the head juror working hand in hand with the defendant... What does "not supporting" the vote entail? Voicing my disrespect for the McConnell Senatorial Era?? A lot of good that does...
But wait. There was bribery and extortion... those are crimes, are Democrats saying they didn't happen???
I totally agree with you. The Clinton impeachment was a sh!tshow, an embarrassment, it never should've happened, and the GOP deserved all the backlash they got for it. That said, the GOP did use the courts, they didn't dispense with due process, and they had Clinton dead to rights. They had him pinned to the mat. His offenses were blatant and irrefutable. It shouldn't have happened, but it was still 100 times more legitimate and legally-justifiable than the farce of an impeachment the Dems are disgracing themselves with now that also SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING.
Just like we are shareing out disrespect for the utter lying scumbag Democrats in house of ass talkers.
