yeah, you can tell from the childrens actions they needed help, hopefully they and mom got some help after this aired maybe the wife swap help them see the way a family should be and mom changed for the better... funny that she ended up deciding she wanted the evil money after all that drama .
Where is sexism not a problem? In the religions where female inferiority and obedience is rooted in the customs and dogma?
So you are admitting that atheists are no better than those who oppress women because of religion? Congrats. You are starting to face the truth that religion isn't the root of all evil atheists try and make it out to be.
That SOME atheists make it out to be. Atheists are only humans and some of them can be just as stupid and/or bigoted as certain religious people.
I have nothing to admit. I've never said otherwise. In fact, I would believe that the thing that binds both religious folks and atheists together is that we're all humans. I would expect to find people across an entire spectrum of behavior in every group of people in the entire world. So that means I'd expect there to be good religious folks, and bad ones. I'd expect good atheists, and bad ones. Being religious does not make you a good person any more than being an atheist makes you a bad one. Those are subjective biased judgments. Religion is not the root of all evil, because religions aren't entities that take actions. People are. Religion is the means by which groups of people compel others, by fear, force, or fantasy, to act or believe in a certain way. That's people doing that, not a religion. Religion is the vehicle, people are the driver. But at the same time, much death and sorrow(in addition to good works) has been caused by the beliefs in religions cultivated by those who use it to control others. So in that manner, while it may be people at the wheel, they are at the wheel of an M1 tank. I might be mad at the driver for blowing up my house, but I can be mad that the tank made it much easier for him to accomplish at the same time. Going back to your reply, I would say that anyone who oppresses women is bad. Atheist or religious. So the atheists who don't are indeed much better than the religious folks who do, and better than the atheists who do as well. But I do not believe it to be inherently true of either group. It's a personal choice, how you'll choose to treat women. But with religion, when you're a follower of a religion with that sexism built into your belief system and the foundations on which it's traditions are constructed, it can be easy to take that one step further and assume that because you choose to be part of a system that contains those elements, that you're at the very least sympathetic to them if not in full agreement. It's not absolute proof by any means. It's an assumption, one a person can reasonably make considering those circumstances, but also one on which they could be extremely wrong. There is nothing like that about atheism. It in no way means atheists can't be sexist, of course they can. But they aren't part of a structure that has been hand in hand with sexism for thousands of years and which in many places still is.
Some atheists believe religion is the cause of all the world's problems. This is why they are so bigoted and full of hate. You should save this post and repeat it when some atheist makes a post or thread bigoted against religious people. But then you would probably get tired of repeating it.

I don't think he will ever tire of repeating it. He's like a foghorn, honking out the same note over and over. Foghorns are notoriously not very introspective.
