I said nothing to the contrary but you left out the obstruction of justice and witness tampering that went along with it. The Democrats said perjury and obstruction of justice and witness tampering did not rise to the level of impeachment AND removal from office. So Wray waited until he was leaving to office to present the grand jury indictment to him and then as I said plea bargain it. He lied about rewarding subordinate employees with special treatment and rewards if they granted him sexual favor. That is sexual harassment in the workplace.

They were totally separate issues. Whitewater which began on a CRIMINAL REFERRAL from the Resolution Trust Corporation netting over 20 convictions including the Clinton handpicked sitting governor, the handpicked Deputy Attorney General of the United States, the Clinton business partner, would have resulted in the conviction of the handpick Legal Counsel to the President had he not committed suicide to avoid going to prison and a host of others so why you saying the only result was Clinton being impeached is fallacious.
Lewinsky began with a witness who was being threatened dumping prima facie evidence Clinton and Lewinsky and committed multiple felonies in a federal court. That was turned over to AG Reno who then turned around and assigned the prosecution back to Starr's office.

Some of the errors were mistakes that were later corrected. Some were predictions that didn't turn out. Some were minor errors (like saying A called B when in fact B phoned A - big deal: the phone call still happened).
There were some major errors and people resigned or were fired for a couple of mistakes. But given the volume of news that gets published every day, 78 errors (even if you count them all) over the course of 2+ years is actually a pretty high quality.

Compare that with the THOUSANDS of falsehoods that Trump has uttered in the same time period. The real purveyor of fake news is sitting in the Oval Office.

For people to say that Whitewater and Monica/Paula gate's ended up being nothing are sorely mistaken and Bill remains an impeached President who had to plea bargain criminal matters having to do with acts AS PRESIDENT and abusing his power AS PRESIDENT after having to pay the $90 grand for the civil violation.

What was I wrong about? I asked for links to "fake news", and your list is minuscule in comparison to the stories that have been published in the last two years. And it doesn't really survive scrutiny when you dig down into the details.

The truth is that mainstream news stories have a very high standard and, with very few exceptions, are factually correct. When errors are found, corrections are printed.

There is simply no evidence whatsoever that mainstream media sources are systematically delivering false information. That is what Trump does.

 

I think his experience helped him get the AG job. Barr has direct experience for the role he was appointed to. He was the Attorney General for the Bush administration from 1991-93. Barr is undoubtedly very highly qualified to be AG.
