    I want it ended in a manner that does NOT place the lives of our troops and our allies in danger.

    That takes PLANNING and ORGANIZATION and COORDINATION.

    These things are called LOGISTICS and anyone who has any practical experience knows that without them you end up up with needless loss of life.

    Your beloved BLOTUS doesn't understand any of these concepts and neither do his devoted supporters.

    Isn't this just the sort of offuscation the right would have pushed in 2006 to justify the surge?

    Be specific. Do you have a timeline or specific aims that need to be met before withdrawal or is this a way to push it out indefinitely while "planning" to leave?

    Do you have any idea at all what is involved in a strategic withdrawal from an active war zone?

    Do you believe that ISIS is just going to sit idly by while US troops evacuate?

    Obviously you don't or you would not be making such asinine allegations.

    Do you have some sort of plan to ensure this "withdrawal" doesn't turn into indefinite occupation?

    The only way to end a war quickly is to lose it.

    We are only there for regime change. It's time to withdraw. If that's done over a couple of months I don't have an issue with that, but any protracted withdrawal longer than that is unacceptable to me.

    Right now it seems to me that establishment war hawk Dems are pushing for the "withdrawal" to last well past the next election, when they can elect someone like Obama who favors spending trillions to bomb Brown children 9000mi away.

    Doesn't pulling out like we're doing effectively hand the Kurds over to Erdogan and Assad? There has been no regime change, and I believe such a pull out only emboldens Assad.
