It was the Republicans who went to the White House and told Nixon they would vote to impeach and remove that got Nixon to resign. The Democrats not only refused to do that but refused to impeach and remove him of actual perjury, obstruction of justice, subornation of perjury and witness tampering. So what is their end game here if none of that rises to the level of impeachment?

That's an odd accusation, considering it is the Democrats who are adhering to the laws. That is why one Republican Congressional investigation after another fails to deliver any indictments, while Democratic investigations, as well as the Special Counsel's independent investigation, deliver real results. Trump is in trouble, and rightly so. In fact, he may be digging his hole deeper by resisting and by appointing someone like Barr to protect himself from prosecution. Trump is corrupting the government (attempting to create his own personally loyal "deep state") and attacking our republican institutions just to try and save himself.

If that is what they want to do and that's for you to decide. I agree with Trump, no charges, no indictment, no collusion, no obstruction. What else would it take for you to believe he was exonerated of the charges? And don't say for Mueller to say it, that's not his job His job was to investigate and if a crime occurred then take it to the AG. He could report none to the AG. Tell me what the Article of Impeachment would say.
Why would he take it to someone with no power to act on it? What role does the AG have in impeachment?
