Who said the bible is infallible? Not me. There are errors of translation. The Bible has the word of God in it. The Holy Ghost tells us so and bears record of this truth. The Bible is the blueprint of the Church of Jesus Christ in OT and NT times, as well as in the present times. But, it takes the testimony of two or more in Jesus Christ. The Book of Ezekiel testifies that in the last days, there will be two books that will testify of the Godhead and the Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Judah (Bible) and the book of Joseph through Ephraim (The Book of Mormon). Together and with the testimony of the Holy Ghost, those with faith and the desire for the truth can know with both books that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). And, that God is God.

It is evidence that there is a Godhead of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The proof comes from asking the Father, in the name of the Son with the Holy Ghost bearing personal testimony of this. Without faith, you will never know or understand this. In the Book of Mormon, Nephi had great faith. His brothers Laman and Lemuel did not. All three saw angels, heard angels and were taught by angels from heaven. But, only Nephi was able to understand and use faith to believe in the teachings of the angels and live the commandments of God. His brothers were unable to and soon put off the knowledge and manifestations of the angels before them. They began to murmur against God, Nephi and his father Lehi. They rebelled as you are doing. Yet, I am not because of my faith, I know when the Holy Ghost bears truth and witness to me that the Father lives, Jesus is the Christ and the Bible and Book of Mormon is evidence of this.

 

When we understand, God refers to the Godhead. The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost (Spirit). The God of Quran is not the Father in the Bible. Nor is that God the Son or Jesus Christ. The Quran only has Jesus a minor prophet but not the God of Abraham. Nor is the God of the Quran the Holy Ghost. So no, the God of Quran is a made up fake God for the enemy of Israel, Islam.

Like your taxes and SSN, salvation is a personal matter. And the science is in the doing. If taking the requisite steps is too much for you, that's your decision/challenge. Cougar Bear has laid out the steps plainly to you. I can tell you that the steps are true and verifiable. But you must do it for yourself. The sense of accomplishment is a personal matter which science cannot frame or measure. It can follow and measure up to a point, but then it is lost, blinded by the light so to speak, wherein there is communion of spirit, and science forbidden. Gladness is not measurable. Does that mean there is none in your life? Have you no camaraderie among like minded friends, or shared exhilaration in a common pursuit. Have you never laughed with a loved one and soared like an eagle far above the stone dungeon of stoicism.
