Right now the crystal ball is a long ways off riding the slow train on ragged infrastructure to election day .

Not only will Sanders v Trump NOT happen, BUT, the Dems nominating Sanders (in 2020) would be a horrible mistake. :salute:

They wanted to feed from the same slop troughs as the GOP and had to sell out the People to do that. Then so many of the People were too blind to see what the DP had done. A voting block of Rubes. I left the party when this happened under clinton.

Maybe, but I can't see how Sanders can appeal to enough Independents to get the job done.

Trump is no Ronald Reagan. Reagan respected the office of the presidency. Reagan would never go around calling other names or creating feuds. Reagan acted presidential. He got along with Democrats and worked very closely with Tip O'Neal then the Democratic Speaker of the House. Reagan once nominated united the Republican Party and then the nation. In 1980 60% of all Americans viewed Trump favorably on election day vs. 36% for Trump. Reagan was affable, not obnoxious. Reagan treated everyone with respect to include his political opponents, Trump calls them names. In short Reagan had class, Trump doesn't. There is no way Trump could ever be the next Ronald Reagan. Trump's persona is 180 degrees opposite of Reagan's.

Hopefully, the orange turd will not make it to the next election, but Bernie Sanders could decimate him if given the opportunity.

Yes, it's good to see you place Trump on a pedestal.

My apprentice at work is a super stereotypical black man who checks every box of the white vision of "urban".

Like most people who have been ****ing robbed of any opportunity who meet me, he started asking questions and paying close attention. As of this moment he's collecting signatures to qualify for the ballot for the Texas State House of Representatives. He's running as a Republican.

Because when he talks about significant property tax reform(and by that I mean drastic cuts), he'll be talking about protecting the elderly and minorities from gentrification. When he talks about reforming welfare it will be from someone who was raised on it building a better system that's community based. When he talks about education, he'll be talking about actually giving minority students a chance with free market reforms, and the Democrat will be left there not knowing what the **** to do.

The best part? Everything in his past, from his shitty credit to his DWI, is just a trap laying in wait to slam his opponent as an out of touch elitist who is just pandering to working families.

    You sir are absolutely hilarious.

Sanders couldn't beat Clinton, and Trump, who had me convinced until the night of the election that he was a Clinton plant to sabotage the GOP, still crushed her.

Sanders would give Trump 48 states.

As a constitutionalist republican, I don't believe anything that comes out of Washington. Including those who claim they're republicans, for they simply hide behind the name. Until people from the last administration start going to jail, they can all kiss my ass. Hiding the truth under "classified and top secret" specifically because it will destroy them and all their lies and deceptions. If America continues to hide the lies, America will continue to decline in every category. Because the only way to hide the lies, is by more lies. Sorry but as you can see I'm truly sick and tired of all the propaganda, lies and deceptions.

When will the White House be swept completely clean? Did you know every POTUS is of the same two bloodlines? In a world filled with lies and deceit, the truth becomes preposterous and absurd. The truth is stranger than fiction. Truth is treason, in the empire of lies.

A Sanders candidacy would be heaven sent for Trump. Even better than Warren. Sad that the D party of goodness is devolving into the party of socialism.

"Tax cuts for the rich" ?? Where does the left get this stuff ?? I guess they will parrot anything that Schumer and Pelosi tell them.

Guys, he left the democratic party about 15 minutes after he stopped gaining attention to his ideas from media by being one. If you are not a registered Democrat in good standing you won't be considered as a serious candidate for the party's nomination.

Wake up people, he's not an option and he knows it.

Hell really has frozen over. Ive agreed with a lot of liberals these days.

Trump had the right credentials to be a game changer. Moderate in most political views savvy in domestic and international business. If only the man could live up to the resume. Hes too petty and scattered to live up to his potential.

I would really like to see 2 moderates, one from each major party, meet in the middle and run on the same ticket. It really would be a voice for every American and at the same time, contacts on both sides of the aisle to make communication easier without the politicians on the hill losing face by being seen speaking to one of "them".

You would think the dems would learn from last go round that putting a broken candidate up is a failed practice.

Sure he will. Then as soon as BLM takes the stage he will stand back and let them take his mic. Then when they are through ranting, his darling Hillary will step forward and he will step back further. Just like he did the last time.

Not that I'm prejudiced against older folk, since I am older myself, both Sanders and Biden will be 79 before or just after election day in 2020. Campaigning and serving is a lot to ask of older folks but...not impossible.
The Democrats have a host of younger people who just might turn out to be attractive possibilities, we'll see.

The real problem lies with the Republicans, they will definitely need to find another candidate to run in 2020 and that candidate will have to run on the disaster the previous clowns left behind. It certainly won't be Trump.......

It's Trump, scandal is always present....and will get worse over the next 1.5 years. The minority of Americans who "approve" of this clown should buckle up.....it's going to be quite a ride.

I disagree. He is an option, with a growing number of people, some of them supported trump. His achilles heel, besides having the corporate and banking owned DP against him is his age. I just wish he were 10 years younger. He would be president if that were the case. The last election was a change election, and if he had won, with the DNC the DP and MSM against him, he would be president today. I called the election on this very forum for trump for one single reason. I sensed that change was wanted in this nation, like never before. So, I knew even as negative as trump was, he would win in a change election against hillary. But not against sanders. I would have bet my life on it.
