Moody’s Economist: Biden’s Inflation Costing Average Americans an Extra $175 Per Month

President Biden’s inflation is reportedly costing average American households an extra $175 per month.

“For households earning the U.S. median annual income of about $70,000, the current inflation rate has forced them to spend another $175 a month on food, fuel and housing,” chief economist at Moody’s Analytics Mark Zandi told the New York Post. “That’s the equivalent of a full grocery, electric or cellphone bill,” Zandi added.

...The situation has been compounded by Democrat-controlled states paying people not to work through large unemployment checks. These checks are in addition to federal government unemployment checks. As a result, many unemployed individuals do not see the sense of returning to work while they are hauling in more money from unemployment than they would by working on honest job.

Just another example of FJBs failed economic policy. Inflation remains high and its a burden on working families.

Ironically importing illegal immigrants also lowers wages for what is supposed to be a core Dem constituency.

And of course fuel prices remain high.

More then that in some states :) As I say, nine months in only! The poor will "Already do" soon find a couple of bills can no longer paid with same amount of money. Winter will be the defining moment when they must pick and choose, food or heat, rent or gas to get to work..

It's the history and legacy of the DNC ;)

So you think Biden is responsible for WORLD WIDE INFLATION????? I think you 're mistaking him for Trump who would have loved that distinction.

‘Stagflation is here,’ following months of rising prices, BofA analysts say.

‘Stagflation is here,’ following months of rising prices, BofA analysts say. “Fears about higher prices are coming to the fore, with BofA Global Research analysts declaring in a Friday note that “stagflation is here” and a government report showing U.S. inflation still at a 30-year high as of August. Even central bankers appeared to be starting to capitulate this week, with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell saying that high inflation could run into 2022.”

Biden destroys everything, even the value of your money while it sits in your pocket.

Rampant inflation that hasn't finished rising, massive market corrections on the horizon, more debt, less savings, social security bankrupt. Yet ask 1000 leftists what they think is the biggest threat to their personal future is and 999 of them will give you some party-line spew about Trump/6-Jan.

They don't care. They believe they have control of the government no matter what. They know they can cheat on elections and win.

The Biden inflation is destroying lives. It’s unfortunate, but this is dems America.

division, inflation, botched withdrawal, rising gas prices, lies and misinformation, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Biden's inflation is far less dangerous than Trump's pandemic.

Well, if Moody said it to the NY Post, I guess it’s the gods honest truth. Lol....Generally the first year of a President’s economy is just the residual effect of the economy he inherited. Few if any of Biden’s economic policies are in place at his point. Much of the inflated pricing is due to the transportation of goods through ports and docks due to the worldwide pandemic that Trump caused.

If Biden is responsible for the inflation because he's the president when it happened, why would anyone want Trump to come back when he was responsible for the economic downturn last year that started all of this, since he was president last year when that happened?

    Makes no sense.

I bailed out on the Democrats over stagflation and want no more of it. Biden told us all it was going to happen.
No, he did not say it. But that is why he ran to be president. And proves it everyday he lives.

Correction. Trump is not the cause of any economic downturn. This storm of hell began after Biden took office.

First it hit WA where Gov. Jay Inslee is the Governor.

Next it hammered CA where the shamed Gov Newsom survived a recall.
Then it hammered New York where the corrupt Cuomo was Governor, and Trump sent Two hospital ships to help both but they ignored them, and the two Governors did not notice those huge ships.

You mean he hasn’t done anything that’s good for Americans. And it’s strange…lol…that you say he hasn’t done anything yet. You can’t name a single thing Biden has done to benefit all Americans.

    Oh, and lol.
