it takes awhile to use up the extra supply, then when demand ramped up, the supply was not there, now we are waiting for supply to ramp up, thus higher prices, see how that works

This is not about what we export .. but what we import . .. Crying .. "we export oil" does not show your claim "we do not import oil" is true --the fact of the matter is that we both import and export oil.

There are different kinds of oil.. Refineries can not take any oil that comes out of the ground which is where your argument falls down on its face. The problem here .. is that other posters have also told you this.. so what is the problem ? Why are you stating what you know is false .. like seriously .. what is so difficult here .. "US imports 40% of the oil required to make the gasoline that we use" - which proves your claim "We do not import oil" FALSE.
