I honestly question the veracity of the video.

It has all of the earmarks of being staged by people who wanted to see how much attention it could draw on social media.

This woman was the victim of a hate crime, yet I see no evidence the offender will be charged accordingly...

 

She sounded like she was drunk off her arse. Maybe this was just to get her drunkedness out? Like one throwing ice on a drunk?

I find it disconcerting to say the least that so many posters are trying to excuse, rationalize, or condone the use of physical violence by a civilian onto another civilian. Without probable cause.

Its creepy.

I think this thread is a perfect example of how minority extreme left and right opinions and groups..... being screamed through bullhorns by our media is further polarizing our country. And now a broader acceptance of violence as a means to a satisfactory end.

It's like.. The great melting pot of America is at risk of being overturned and all the ingredients poured out on the ground.

One thing I don't understand is the statement: "the woman puts her hand in the man’s face as he tries to get off the bus." Does the video miss this? If she did that first before the videoing started then surely she deserved it. Otherwise he should just have ignored what sounded like a drunk racist woman who must be embarrassing to know. I notice that he was on his phone while she was shouting at him - if someone did that to me, especially if I was talking to my mum or dad, I would not be happy. It seems like he was not intending to get off at that stop but because of her he decided better to go.

 

Lol even if he would be fine with a black personal using the word (no evidence he is), it's still not a hate crime

Don't get me wrong, this is just one of the many reason I don't believe in hate crimes. Clearly whites do not get equal consideration when being assaulted by minorities. She was assaulted solely on the basis of her being white, and using a word that whites apparently aren't allowed to use that other groups are allowed to use. There's actually several violations of this woman's civil rights in play...

Of course assaulting someone on the basis of race is a hate crime. Unless you have evidence this thug scumbag regularly assaults women in public...

I can go with being the victim of assault, but how can you use a racist epithet and then claim you are a victim of a hate crime.
