Since when does home schooling equal slavery to you?

Another notorious left winger said that Rachel Dolezal thought she was black (or tried to convince others she was)
    due to her fundamentalist parents.

The reactions to Rachel Dolezal's story is like a Rorschach test where leftists see nefarious right wing indoctrination no matter which ink blot is shown.

I'm not trying to construct a narrative out of whole cloth to justify her actions.

Kareem's thoughts on Rachel and being (not) tall
"I sympathize with the dilemma of Rachel Dolezal, the head of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP whose parents maintain that she is not any part black, as she has claimed (#whiteisthenewblack). See, I too have been living a lie. For the past 50 years I’ve been keeping up this public charade, pretending to be something I’m not. Finally, in the wake of so many recent personal revelations by prominent people, I’ve decided to come out with the truth.

    "I am not tall (#shortstuff)..."

"The thing about race is that, scientifically, there is no such thing.

"As far back as 1950, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) released the conclusions of an international group of anthropologists, geneticists, sociologists, and psychologists that stated that the concept of race was not a scientific entity but a myth.

"Since then, one scientific group after another has issued similar conclusions.

"What we use to determine race is really nothing more than some haphazard physical characteristics, cultural histories, and social conventions that distinguish one group from another.

"But, for the sake of communication, we will continue to misuse the word, myself included, in order to discuss our social issues so everyone understands them.

"As far as Dolezal is concerned, technically, since there is no such thing as race, she’s merely selected a cultural preference of which cultural group she most identifies with. Who can blame her? Anyone who listens to the Isaac Hayes song, 'Shaft,' wants to be black—for a little while anyway (#who’sthecatwhowon’tcopout).

Sure, they are trying to erase the blackness out of them.

That's it. They adopted the black kids because they want to bring their own version of slavery back. Got it. Makes perfect sense.

I take it back. You should go with android infiltrators from parallel dimensions. That makes more sense than what you just posted.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_facto...ict_fundamentalists_the_revelation_sheds.html

"If Rachel Dolezal did indeed grow up in an abusive, extremist family, it's of course no excuse for lying about her identity. But the cult-like fundamentalism that festers in so many pockets of our country does real damage to the psyches of people who might grow up to rebel against their upbringing—and even reject their core identity—in the strangest of ways."

That's not plagiary using it during a campaign event and I don't know that if that even even required a BMI or ASCAP license unless he was selling something or otherwise making a profit. And then of course is the fair use doctrine.

They look fools for not firing her and denouncing without reservation for the fraud she committed.

Why are you citing a totally baseless assertion by a blogger on Slate?

The problem is that Rachel Dolezal did not grow up in an abusive family. She claimed that her parents whipped her while they were living in South Africa, but I seriously doubt that they were able to whip her from across the Atlantic Ocean.

the guy in this video made me chuckle, but it's a pretty straight forward explanation on when you can use someone else's music without permission, he even has little examples while he goes along which is what I think most people need to see to understand... all campaigns, have to pay royalties, for music they use... end of story... Obama had to pay them, Romney had to pay them, and if he were alive today, George Washington would have had to pay for them...

people seem to claim "educational" rights when they use music in videos, that educational right has a very limited scope of use, but let's be honest, when was the last time people read the laws, understood the laws, and followed the laws as written... instead they like to use their interpretation of what someone else's opinion was of the laws... you do not have to be selling something or trying to make a profit to be required to pay royalties, any use, ANY USE, that doesn't fall within the very narrow scope of the law, is infringement... and that goes for everything, music, print, etc etc etc...

Yes it's called the news, an accurate timely reporting of it, at least on Fox News.

Watched by angry white guys according to the poster I responded to.
I am not an angry white guy, so I don't tune into the theatrical stories posted daily by those entertainment channels. They don't provide news. They're for entertainment and biased information to keep those that think alike tuned in.

TV for commerical use, if it falls under the fair use doctrine you can. If not and your are selling a product you must have a BMI or ASCAP license to use it or you can get a "use with permission".

The Trump thing was not a commercial or campaign ad soliciting donations which MAY, not sure myself, come under a licensing requirement. It was merely at a rally which I do not believe Young can do a thing about except complain.
ROFL and Democrats have not? Ahhh Biden? Goal post moving noted, the fact is the use we are discussing is NOT plagiarizing, you were in error.
