This is what happens when you don't read beyond purposely misleading headlines. Stop allowing ideology and bias to make you myopic and stupid. Please.

It's not a "bombshell" for any member of the Trump team who communicated with Russians under surveillance to end up caught up in said surveillance. It's precisely what you would expect to have happen! And there is nothing wrong with it, because it was not them who were being surveilled, but rather the Russians in question.

    America, stop being stupid.

I'm fearful that at this point, the leaker will try to leave the country(if he/she hasn't already), there's more evidence compiling against the leaker every day the investigation continues.

Give a few days, my friend, to disprove yet another fakeLiberal hope. Meanwhile, the strategy is effective, I grant you that - occupy the president with every which sh*t you can.

But Trump is a fast learner, still in the beginning of his presidency... Give'm time, give'm a little time :)

The hell it is. Moron "news" sites like Zero Hedge (lol) are purposely misleading, and biased morons readily fall for it because it confirms their biases for them. By them, I of course mean you.

LOL - Nunes is saying the surveillance was INAPPROPRIATE and that Trump could very well be correct.

The underlying warrant may have been legally obtained but the release of "incidental contact" transcripts and identities is very illegal.

I'm now willing to state: Someone's going to jail.

Do you actually hope that any "colluding with russkies" be unearthed in these surveillances? And if not, will you start liking Trump?

and there you have it, did I not call this days ago?

the moment there is proof Trump was tapped, liberals were ready to rush out with the "someone else was tapped and trump just happened to get caught up.

Can't win with a liberal, they have a spin on anything you may present them in the way of facts against their whiny ways.

I thank the good lord every day I am not one of them. I can sleep my nights knowing I stand for common sense, legitimate argument in all I do

I still see no evidence Obama ordered a wiretap on Trump, no matter how much you guys stretch to try and prove it.

The "information I received has nothing to do with Russia or the Russian investigation" which dismisses the possibility that they were talking to 'Russian Agents' and that they were accidentally caught. Your government, OUR government is corrupt to the bone with regards to its vaunted "intelligence community". There's a leaker OR leakers(No one ever denied there was more than one.)

In the absence of evidence, I can also theorize as much as I want.

    Once again:

"Fourth and finally, I want to be clear; none of this surveillance was related to Russia, or the investigation of Russian activities, or of the Trump team." Chairman Nunes

The article said it had nothing to do with russian investigation... and again these US citizens communications were unmasked, and widely disseminated across the intel community, with absolutely 0 intelligence value.

This is precisely the sort of abuse of broad powers that certain whistleblowers warned us of.

Nunes to meet with NSA, CIA and then FBI Director and he wants to specifically know how he is going to get the proper information from the FBI Director.

    Someone came forward with information.

So there was no surveillance of Trump or his team! So Trump communications were picked up by accident and coincidental to the surveilence that was not against Trump.

Logical conclusion is that the problem is that the coincidental communications was revealed and that is a much different issue than claiming that Trump was a target of tapping by Obama.

Let's suppose Loretta Lynch gave the order, let's suppose that Obama knew but didn't do anything about it. Guilt by association. Literally, there's a thousand and one ways this investigation could go.

Given the penalties associated with violations of The Espionage Act flight might be seen as a good option for violators.

“In the spectrum of crimes involving the leaking of classified information, publicly revealing the contents of SIGINT — signals intelligence — is one of the most serious felonies. Journalists (and all other nongovernmental citizens) can be prosecuted under federal law for disclosing classified information only under the narrowest circumstances; reflecting how serious SIGINT is considered to be, one of those circumstances includes leaking the contents of intercepted communications, as defined this way by 18 § 798 of the U.S. Code:

Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates … or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes … any classified information … obtained by the processes of communication intelligence from the communications of any foreign government … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.”, THE INTERCEPT, The Leakers Who Exposed Gen. Flynn’s Lie Committed Serious — and Wholly Justified — Felonies, By, Glenn Greenwald, February 14 2017.

No. The "MSM" has not validated Trump's accusation that Obama ordered his tower to be wiretapped.

Your quote about the legality of those leaking the documents or information is irrelevant to that accusation.
