The bombing in Mosul by US & Iraqi forces on civilians was intentional in that they don't care about the "collateral" damage. The Iraqi government do not care about the majority Sunni civilians living in Mosul. Mosul has been flattened. Though, to give some fairness, between a rock and a hard place in some ways

As opposed to Oriental which is English for "people from the Orient".
