The federal response to Hurricane Katrina was at worst a day late and caused no significant harm to anyone in New Orleans.

It was a pitiful response. I suppose "rape" and "death" in some metaphysical viewpoint could be called "no significant harm."

 

No one was raped or died as a result of the federal response. It was hardly the fault of the Bush Admin. for chaos or disorder in the Superdome or convention center.

Clinton would have faced head on the dot.com bust. He was lucky he got out. So many firms went broke, it hurt the tax base of America. Bush did not lay off the workers, it was due to Clinton.

We did win Iraq and we used Afghanistan forces who won Afghanistan. Afghanistan is such a poor country it is hard for them to afford a up to date military. But the Taliban is temporary. Bush never murdered anybody. Our forces worked overtime trying hard not to kill either afthans nor Iraqis. Blame the IEDS for the deaths, not our troops. We never planted IEDS.
The funds borrowed by the banks was paid back long ago and it profited the USA Government.

The housing market, my field, was not hurt by Bush. Congress is to blame since Bush informed them that our rule maker, the ones that dictate loans terms, the forms used, the appraisals, all that and more, were going bankrupt. When Fannie Bankrupted, it crashed the market.

As a lender, let me say now. We did not create the loan terms. We were told by FANNIE mae what they were. What we offered the public, was dictated to us.

Blame Fannie Mae plus the Democrats in congress who daily said FANNIe Mae was in top shape. It was going down the toilet.

Bush jr failed to evacuate the critical counties/parishes that were impacted by Katrina.

Bush jr's DELAYED response resulted in people dying from thirst, exhaustion and violence.

Kennedy knew lower taxes increased not only tax revenue but also increased GDP. There would come a point where that wouldn't be true and taxes were just too low to provide adequate government funding but we are not there yet.
