Can America afford to pay a higher minimum wage?

I am comparing us with other modern countries. Which shows that the GOP has been screwing us through 40 years at least. We are the richest country in the world and thanks to the GOP giveaway to the greedy idiot rich we have the worst inequality and upward mobility and the most poor and homeless anywhere in the modern world by far. And basically no real benefits of citizenship, things like a living wage health care daycare cheap college great infrastructure and vacations. Because freedom and communism, stupidest crap ever...

 

Of course you are totally brainwashed and are only talking about federal income taxes. Meanwhile in the real world, everyone is paying about 27% in all taxes a total screw job for regular people. No money to invest in infrastructure or upward mobility for regular people. Just have an addictive propaganda machine to fill the roobs minds with garbage propaganda...

 

It is the greedy idiot GOP rich that gave us George w Bush and the tax cuts on the rich and corporations the last 35 years not to mention the worst propaganda machine ever to make this mess possible. We need to tax the rich their fair share so we can invest in Americans and America for the first time in 40 years.... Another 20 years of this crap and we will be a banana Republic oligarchy. Democratic rich people know we have to invest in America and Americans and are for raising taxes on the rich. Here's some history for the uninformed. Eisenhower had 90% top rate, Kennedy lowered it to 70, then Reagan loaded to 50% and had success, then gave us the kiss of death cutting it to 28% on his way out. Not enough!!. Of course the rich should pay more. Why does no one from the GOP recognise why the rich were able to get so rich in the US.
