If calling him a liar gives you pleasure, fine.

My concern is that the nation achieves a health insurance system that approaches that of advanced nations, inclusive, high quality coverage at affordable costs.

If the GOP ever contrives such a plan (not ignoring Willard Romney's having created a decent model) I hope they'll present it.

P.S. to Post 248. Even if some of the new policies are better than the ones they replace, can everyone afford them? Millions of middle class working people can't afford a few hundred dollars a month in extra charges. Many will wind up uninsured because they can't afford Obamacare. I seem to remember that getting everyone insured was a primary goal of Obamacare. At least, that's what Democrats said. But the CBO estimates the uninsured under Obamacare to be 44 million in 2014, declining to 31 million in 2023. That's better than the current 57 million, but the problem will hardly be solved. Consider what a working, Middle Middle family is going to pay out above their budget in their monthly premiums.
Then consider if they all get the "flu" the same month, add $40 - $65 co pay for an office visit and a $20 co pay per Rx. And 99% of those generics cost less then $20 per course of therapy.
Do the arithmetic for a family of four on a Silver Plan then please tell me about "affordable costs".
The monthly premium + the cost of 4 viral family members.

Another "lie" that really concerns me was the PROMISE that "if you like your health insurance you can keep it".
Except your policy may not exist anymore so, good luck.

And to get really cynical, how about Michelle Obama's Princeton University friend getting the computer contract.
