I don't watch TV and I only play a "leftist" on this board ... I'm a gun owner and life-long hunter who believes that capitalism should be the more dominant economic ideology in society. I just happen to believe that the current jump toward anti-science by the far right is unforgivable. Hunters and sportsmen used to be champions of the environment. Now we get labeled "leftists".

You might want to take a look in the mirror. When the game and fish commissions routinely pander to the left with hunting and fishing closures in spite of their published science, it's time for a little look-see.

But wouldn't that be a form of voter suppression?

States have the traditional police power to fix their own Standards for voting.

I used to bow hunt every year. After I filled a wall of mounts I gave it up. It really is not that difficult to outsmart a rutting buck. Find the doe bedding area and set up on it in the first weekend of November in the morning.... grunt a few times right after daybreak and bam instant buck.

Some of the best times I ever had were hunting. Ironically the best hunting memories I have are of camping in the snow in 10 degree weather with my brothers. We were learning to hunt at that point and never really killed anything but it was a hell of a hoot.

This was the last time I ever hunted (10 years ago). Buck1.jpg

Do you really think blue states want to be accused of voter suppression?

Democrats also refuse to accept Al Gore lost even though the US Supreme Court ruled otherwise.

Funny - I don't remember 30 million Democrats marching on Washington to demand Gore be installed as President. Now you can claim the were disappointed and angry - but to claim they REFUSED TO ACCEPT is just a exercise in bombastic hyperbole. Same with the claims that they REFUSE to accept Trump is President.

Forget about Biden making it to the general election. He will get a serious thumbing during the Democratic primary.

Removing a candidates name from the ballots is a form of voter suppression. No one is required to show their tax records to run for a public office. This is only a political tactic by Democrats.

Funny post. We all remember how angry the Democrats were when Gore lost. Damn those hanging chads!

I think every Trump supporter on PF ought to declare that Trump shall be President for life, just for fun.

I believe the DNC will instruct the other candidates to treat Biden with kids glove. He is moderate enough to garner Independent votes, while the other candidates are not....and the Democrats can not win without Independent votes. Unless some other candidate starts really taking off, I think this will be the case. At the moment, Biden is likely the only candidate that might beat Trump and beating Trump is all that matters.

The new Democratic Socialists don't fear the DNC establishment. A revolution is in progress against the Democratic establishment. This will become clearer during the first primary debate next month.

This is a stupid thread. No offense intended. A president of the United States does not "give up" power. Once his term of office runs out his power simply ends. His PIN to open the nuclear football no longer works, the government employees under his direct control no longer obey his orders. A president plays no active role in the "peaceful transition" of power. It simply happens because two centuries of governing structures are set up for it to happen.

Plus, it is utterly ridiculous and utterly hypocritical for the Democrats, who have yet to accept their loss in 2016, to whine about whether President Trump would accept losing in 2020.

Except for the fact that he can't do that. And this post is idiotic. What makes you think President Trump would be any more inclined to launch nuclear weapons that any one else?

Uh no, it is not. Who died made you King with your proclamations of grandeur? You'd be better served getting a job instead of misinterpreting the Constitution. :roflol:
