Can you be liberal and Christian at the same time?

Here's a good question... ..have any "religious" leaders spoken out against this atrocity?

Any good Christian leaders find this against Jesus's teachings? Any? Any brave enough to speak out???

 

More and more Christianity is becoming defined by Trumpism and there seems to be no backlash or complaint coming from these Christians, they look to be reforming the faith as Trump acts and makes new rules. If they have a problem with infidelity, hatred, or any of the many things he has done and is doing they have not bothered to yell about it and in fact here at least the most vocal and ardent TrumpHumpers seem to be Christians as well. It almost seems that God has been replaced by Trump and it is not just disturbing it paints their faith as disgusting.

Just understand that your dwindling faith is unlikely to survive this, Christians.

If you find a nursing mother carrying a baby across the desert the response of ANYONE who claims to be Christian would be to give assistance.

It would NOT be to take away the baby and put it in a refugee camp while you send the mother to some other country.

Even the officials note that reuniting these youngsters with their deported parents is something for which there is NO process and is not likely to be one, as we don't have the capability of tracking parents living on nothing in some foreign country.



Some percent of these small children will be orphaned.

Trump policy IS an unbelievably horrible humanitarian atrocity.

False. It's been shown over and over and over again that this ABSOLUTELY is Trump's policy on this issue.

Perhaps the way to detect this is to note that it is new with Trump, it's a process, and it had nothing to do with the legislature.

 

Nope, the law requires that children can only be detained for 72 hours then must be released.

It was passed by democrats and signed into law by Bill Clinton.

If it wasn't a law then Trump wouldn't have needed to sign an executive order to change it.

 

He doesn't but it's a good show....

Christians support the laws.

We didn't bring these people here, they came of their own free will.

Why wouldn't we support doing what the law tells us to?

In fact the Bible commands that we support the law.

 

The Trump policy was decidedly different than Obama policy.

Trump changed that policy to get what we have today.

There is no possibility of refuting that fact.

 

Yes, his policy was to follow the law, Obama's was to ignore the law.
