You’re talking about Thursday's rally in Pennsylvania. Here is the transcript of that part of the rally, to show context [emphasis mine], with the actual quote in red. You’ll see lots of laughter.

I go home, I see my wife. I said, "Honey, we're going to get the greatest -- I just did something so great today, you know. I just stopped missiles from being launched every two seconds in Korea. Baby, what I did with North Korea was great. I got along great with Chairman Kim. I got along great." That's a good thing, not a bad thing, by the way. I got along.

"And you know what? Baby, I got the hostages back. Didn't have to pay anything. And you know what, honey? They're not testing any more nuclear. They haven't had a test in nine months. And you know what else? They're not sending rockets over Japan and they're not sending missiles over Japan and they're not launching missiles anymore. They haven't launched one in nine months."

I said, "Oh, the media is going to treat me, finally, so good. So good. I mean, it's going to be so great, baby. I'm looking so forward to getting up tomorrow and reading those dying papers." [Laughter] And what do I read? What do I read? So I left three months ago. What do I read? They've been working on this stuff for 75 years. Obama didn't do anything. In all fairness, other administrations did nothing. They've been working on it for so many decades. What do I read? I left three months ago. "Donald Trump isn't moving fast enough." Would you believe? [Laughter]

I'm not moving fast enough. Oh boy, what a group. What a group. You know another one in Helsinki, I had a great meeting with Putin. We discussed everything. I had a great meeting. I had a great meeting. We got along really well. By the way, that's a good thing, not a bad thing. That's a really good thing. Now, we're being hindered by the Russian hoax. It's a hoax, OK? I'll tell you what: Russia's very unhappy that Trump won, that I can tell you.

But I got along great with Putin. And everybody said, "Wow, that was great. That was great." A couple of hours later I started hearing these reports that, you know, they wanted me to walk up -- here's a podium, they wanted me to walk up and go like this. [Laughter]

Now, looking at his comical talk above, where is the lie? Russia has been an enemy of the United States for a century now. It is friends with America’s enemies. Why would they want Trump to win? He’s a capitalist entrepreneur who is fixing America’s economy and its military. That’s the last thing Russia want. Trump said, “Russia's very unhappy that Trump won, that I can tell you,” during a comical speech. He was right. Russia is very unhappy that Trump won. If you think it isn’t, prove it.

To repeat, you can see thousands of lies but you can’t provide one. Religious people are the same. They can see thousands of bits of evidence that God exists, but they can’t provide one. Same deal.

Just going to point out that the greatest lie Trump told was when he took the presidential oath. He is not living up to it.

I don't know. That would take a modicum of character and shame. Something that trump and his supporters have not shown yet.

It’s the truth. Once again, if I insisted you were the owner of CNN, which is false, and after a year you yelled, “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH CNN!” you would be saying that in regard to the ownership claim – not in regard to your watching CNN on TV. If I was desperate to make you out to be a liar I could say, “Ah hah! Gotcha! You have watched CNN a number of times on TV, so your claim that you have nothing to do with CNN is A LIE! A DIRTY LIE!”

It’s a stupid and desperate approach by stupid, desperate Leftes, out to paint Trump as a liar.

My daughter does business with Russia all the time. Millions of businesses around the world do. Why should Trump be any different?

    So what?

Parsing is the Left do. It’s how they generate most of their lame allegations of lies.

As was yours when you said, “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH CNN!” in the analogy above. Whether you understand that or not depends on your age and your ability to understand English and all its nuances, applicable to those over 70. Trump is 72. If your English isn’t your first language, or if you went to school in the last thirty years, when English teachers swapped teaching English for liberal politics, then you won’t understand the analogy or the nuance.

Now, since you insist there are thousands of Trump lies, why don't you find one that will not be so easily pulled apart, hmm? With such a large choice, shouldn't that be easy? Hmm? Come on man, indulge us.

You can't because they don't exist.

When Trump said what he said, it was his opinion. If you have a lie Trump told, point to it. Stop pointing to his opinions.

This is what Trump haters say when you neutralize their alleged Trump lies. It’s all they have. They don’t debate the point but revert to ad hominem.

Trump is a billionaire entrepreneur, President of the United States, and Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces.

Yes, you can see millions of Trump lies, but you can’t provide one example. We know.

Instead of pointing to a Fake News story, why don’t you provide the lie told, as requested in the OP? If you look at the article you won’t find one. All they have are allegations and unverified sound recordings that could have been made by me. Come on man, provide an example of a lie. Put it here, word for word, along with a link. What’s so hard about that? YOU are the one alleging the lie. Where is it? It's becoming clear you can't do this.

Not at all. The scenario described shows precisely how a billionaire operates with lawyers, and how it is the easiest thing in the world for them to handle bimbos and gold diggers like what's-her-face, without the billionaire knowing the details. If you think Trump lied about something, the onus is on YOU to prove it. Your opinion and your hurt feelings have nothing to do with the matter. If you have proof, cough it up.

I try to avoid them, but they keep popping up - what can you do? You ask them for evidence, you ask them for a real lie, and what do you get? Opinions, exaggerations, misquotes, misinformation, misinterpretations, misrepresentations and Fake News. I'm still waiting for a lie.

There is only one reason why this poster started this thread. He wants Trump critics to waste their time on this thread and not start others of their own.

I read the article and see no lie mentioned. The word ‘lie’ doesn’t appear. The closest we get is their headline that reads, “President Trump announces a major U.S. Steel expansion — that isn’t happening”.

If someone in a steel company tells Trump they’re going to do something, and Trump repeats this, it’s not a lie. It’s merely Trump passing on some good news he’s heard. We all do the same thing, all the time. For instance, I might put up a new post called “Lying Liberals” on this board. You (raytri) might then send a PM to TomFitz saying, “Larrikin has put up a new thread about lying libs,” and in the meantime I might delete my post. TomFitz goes to find the new thread but it’s not there. He writes back to raytri, “Can’t find it. Are you sure it’s up?”

Does TomFiz call raytri a liar? No? Why not? Oh that’s right. He would only do that if it was Trump. raytri is a Lefty, so he's not going to be labelled a liar.

There is no lie. Trump was told something that he repeated, which we all do all the time. Whether those steel mill owners do what they said is another matter entirely. Fake News is just mischievously trying to make nothingburgers as usual – so what else is new?

Once again, if you know of an actual lie, please present it. The best way to do that is to follow the OP’s instructions. Find the lie, research it to make sure it is actually a lie, then present it here, word for word, along with a link. Not a Gish Gallop mind – just one lie. Thanks. Until then, the score remains

    ZERO.

Trump claimed he would release his tax returns and used an alleged IRS audit as a weak excuse not to.

So, how's that alleged audit coming along?

Not if he saw the selected teachers and approved their selection. When McDonalds say, “We hand select our beef,” do you think the owners of McDonalds go out and select the beef, or do they send experts? Their “we” and Trump’s “me” are the same thing. Their experts are extensions of themselves. Similarly Trump will say, “I built Trump Tower,” which is technically not true, because he didn’t actually “build” it with his hands. By “built” he means he had it built by a bunch of experts. It’s common talk in business, not a lie. It’s also common talk in politics, which is why Obama might say, “I gave you Obamacare,” which is technically not true, since it took tens of thousands of people to create Obamacare. Obama didn’t make even one page of their website, for instance. However, we accept his “I gave you Obamacare,” in the same way we accept McDonald’s, “We hand-select our beef,” because we understand that the experts who actually did the selecting or building were an extension of McDonalds, Obamacare or Trump Tower, etc.

We don’t go screaming “LIAR LIAR at Obama, McDonalds or any other business when they speak like this – only Trump. Why? Because he is the victim of an unfair attack. So no, there is no lie. Unless all people on earth are liars for doing exactly the same thing. For instance, you might tell your daughter, “I got you this car.”

    Did you?

Or was it the iron mining company, steel foundry, plastics manufacturers, engine makers, gearbox makers, glass manufacturers, wheel makers, tire makers, car company, robots and workers, truck transport company, car salesman and petroleum companies that “got” her the car. Weren’t you really just the guy who paid?

If we want to get technical about who “hand-picked” what, then we’re all liars, not just Trump.

So no, there was no lie.

So what you're saying is that you don't have an alleged lie to present to me. Only a question. This thread isn't inviting you to ask a question. It's asking you to supply one alleged lie that Trump told, along with a link. Not a Gish Gallop mind, just one simple alleged lie, and link.

Can you do that, or not? So far the score for Lefties is:

    ZERO.

As a former IRS agent, I can tell you that the agency cannot enjoin anyone from disclosing their tax returns to anyone as they are private property. Thus, contrary to the myths expounded by his defenders here, Trump's regime has been a lie from Day One.

Again, you talk a lot but you provide no Trump lie. Trump stated crime was up in Germany because crime was up in Germany. He ought to know. What intelligence gathering do you have, other than Google? Nothing, that's what you have. I'll take the commander-in-chief's knowledge of these matters over yours any day. Now scram, and don't show your face until you have a genuine Trump lie.

If you have a Trump lie place it here. You can start your own thread about Trump Jr's alleged lies. This one is for Trump's alleged lies.

So far the score for the Left in this regard is:

    ZERO.
