Please show us the official US policy banning travelers who plan on attenting peaceful & lawful demonstrations.

I bet if this was 4 years ago and they turned away folks wanting to go to a Tea Party protest, you'd be instead yelling "Fascism!!!....Censorship!!!!"

 

The official policy is the discretion of the border police. And they don't need a proof, if they have even a tiny suspicion that people entering the US are rabble-rousers or trouble makers, it's their duty to send the back home.... And given the well publicized liberal thuggish plans to disrupt the inauguration ceremony, the decision was a no-brainer.

The Border Patrol better have rejected travelers based on an assumption that they were planning on engaging in illegal activity, due to Reasonable Suspicion or Probably Cause.

Cause if they rejected travelers SIMPLY because they disagreed with their politics, that should be illegal.
