Castle Doctrine = Freedom to murder?

    I assume this law is from Texas? Ours in AZ is similar, just not for defending property. Rape, arson, sexual assault, and assaulting children, sexual or otherwise, we can shoot. Another good difference between AZ and CA is you don't have to prove to the state that your life was in danger when using deadly force. I mention CA cause I grew up there and their laws are bassackwards. Also, the criminal cannot sue the victim in civil court, which they can in CA, which is just f-ing ridiculous. There's a case where a burglar sued the homeowner of the house he was breaking into cause he fell through a sunroof and broke his leg. Gotta love the liberal utopian state that is CA.


    The other dig difference between AZ and TX is we cannot shoot a criminal while they are fleeing.
