    Why does this garner more attention than the hundred thousand innocent deaths thus far?

    They all seem to be dying because od religion...one way or another, pedophiles deserve as much.

    The animals who cheered, will no doubt die as horrific a death as the priest. No doubt from Assad's bombs...and unlike the priest's death, it will be well deserved.

    He was living in peace in the Convent of the Custody of the Holy Land. He was dragged out and made a spectacle of and then had his head cut off. Can you imagine a catholic convent even existing in Syria if these vermin our prez wants to arm takes power?

    And it does not garner more attention than the others, only the Daily Mail reported on this - none of the mainstream news streams in the U.S. even mentioned it.

    I no more condone this atrocity than any other....these animals are unworthy of respect regardless. I was simply noting the attention suddenly paid on this forum by people BECASE he is Catholic.

    This was reported on O'Reilly on Fox as being a lie. The priest was shot and killed somewhere else in Syria on the same day near the same time that the beheadings took place. The beheadings you saw were of those providing Arms to the Syrian government. It hasn't been posted on the internet yet so no link. Watch his rerun tonight at 11 est.

    Yes because he a Christian and isn't involved in the sectarian violence between Shias and Sunnis, yet Christians are always the first casualties. As for garnering attention, in the past decade the Christians have been killed and ethnically cleansed in the Middle East and ancient Churches have been destroyed on a regular basis, yet the press will rarely mention it... if at all so as not to arouse antipathy towards the Muslims. Oh but let it be some Buddhist temple or statue, and it will be blasted all over...:steamed:

    The loyalty was probably nothing more than trying to protect some Shia family. As a Christian he's obligated to do it no matter if they're Shias, Sunnis or Christian..:pray:

    What a crock....Christians are no more targetted than 8 yr. old kids plating in a mud puddle. Christian churches are no more destroyed than ancient religious statues and mosques......you folks just have tighter panties to get in a wad.

    CNN was once known as the Clinton channel because they were showing the 'poor' Albanians exiting Kosovo from morning until night. Well it turned out they were being paid five dollars for each time they did so in front of the cameras. They forgot to pay someone and he spilled the beans. I guess today we can call it the Obama channel. :disbelief:

    The rebels were being trained in Turkish camps, and Turkish officers were captured in Syria about four months ago. Iranian officers were captured about four months ago helping Assad, to the point where it seemed as if there was a proxy war between them, yet you only mention the U.S. and Israel, whose involvement is quite recent and only because of Hezbollah.:confuse:

    btw Turkey like Greece are NATO members and the current Turkish govt is doing their f -ing best to be accepted as a member of EU.
