Charlottesville civil trial will explore where free speech becomes conspiracy to commit violence

Like I said, they should sue the city, and then they'll actually get to collect on their damages. Symbolic victories are nice but they don't pay the bills.

As for those of us who live in C'ville and Central Virginia, we know who allowed that violence to happen, and they need to be held accountable for their gross negligence, as well:

I have no sympathy for the *******s who roll up into our communities and turn our cities into war zones. As far as I'm concerned, James Fields should have received the death penalty for killing Heather Heyer, which probably would have made a greater impression on his fellow idiots than this lawsuit.

 

They would have a LONG LONG way to go to validate the claim you make.

With the false statements made by those applying for the event, this is far more likely to just bounce back to the actual criminals.

Plus, I highly doubt that the Cville police are legally responsible for preventing all possible violence.

Liberals shouldn’t even have the gall to bring up Charlottesville ever again. Not after what happened 3 days ago. They had their own little Charlottesville, instead it was 10x worse. In Charlottesville, whatever that guys name is, ran over a morbidly obese screaming SJW. One fatality.
In Wisconsin, this POS runs over senior citizens and kids. What is the death toll at? 6? Possibly more incoming. Nearly 50 hurt seriously. I don’t want to hear a damn thing about Charlottesville again. The liberal terrorist attack targeted kids and seniors. You can’t stoop lower than that.

 

This idea that “free speech” is somehow a blanket to cover the consequences of that speech it beyond ridiculous.

If your standing next to a man who is pointing a gun and someone, and you tell him to fire it, you are as guilty of the murder as the person who pulled the trigger. The courts have been very clear on this for a very long time.

Free speech has it limitations when it becomes a call to action. It is not free speech when it is slanderous, inciting, pornographic, libelist, violates a non-disclosure etc…etc..etc. There is a LONG list a court decisions throughout our history that prove this out.

 

The Charlottesville march was PLANNED as a violent event over political issues, including the promotion of racism. It included deceiving the police in terms of the size and nature of the event.

The Wisconsin parade was focused on holiday celebration.

Your attempt at comparing these two is just plain UGLY. You need to think first.
