So Britain (who's majority of its population did not support war) declared war by itself on Germany (because France refused to go to war over Czecheslovakia), Germany conquers the Czechs easily and quickly, and then Britain does what? They have no land border with Germany, their bombers are the time are sitting ducks to German fighters and flak, and navies don't win land wars. So I ask again, what option did Chamberlain have?
According to Adolph Hitler, if Neville Chamberlain showed any spine whatsoever, he would have never invaded Czechoslovakia and presumably, close to 100 million lives would not have been lost during World War II. Hitler said of Chamberlain, "We have met our enemies and they are worms." What other options did Chamberlain have? Anything else that didn't show complete and abject capitulation.
