A buch of guys dressed in period 1700's clothes, masturbating over a document from the same era, yeag, whats to laugh about? ;)
Psssssst, the Chinese are communists, they are all about "goose stepping behind their dictator".
All consecutive presidents have done this, Obama is just the latest, but he's black, so gets more attention from the racists in the GOP.
I just highlighted that for the LULZ. Yeah, they're sane alright. Or bat(*)(*)(*)(*) crazy, one of the two.

Why should we care what a country with far worse living conditions than ours says about our way of life?

I think Obama would be equally stupid even if he were white.

On most issues the half Kenyan is just as bad as Bush even though they do not share the same skin color.

Because they could help bring about the end of your heegemony. They could help bring about the end of USD as teh worlds reserve currency. Clearly you do not understand the ramifications of this. For one, the price of oil just got more expensive for you.

The Chinese made a very good pragmatic point about the global economy and the OP almost missed it completely. The Chinese were making absolutely no moral or even political judgments about the United States; in fact, their own foreign policy has a consistent history of not worrying about such things.

The concern being expressed is that due to the de facto condition of the US Dollar being the global currency and due to Bretton-Woods and the sheer amount of ledger Dollars and Dollar instruments in the global economy, currently the whole global economy is effectively a hostage of US politics. The Chinese were thus arguing that other countries need to work to gradually change this situation, so that an American political meltdown doesn't impact them as severely as it would under current conditions.

While the Tea Party are arguing for policies that would prevent an economic meltdown in the first place.

If they had stuck to argument that would have been great, but pulling the legislative equivalent of a 7/11 armed stickup is quite a different matter. It's like the difference between protest, civil disobedience and terrorism; they all may want the same ends but the means used to try and achieve it are quite different.

Nope, don't get why their opinion of our social mores is important at all. You failed to explain this as well in your response, care to try again.

They (China) are not commenting on society in the US, they are commenting on the political ability of the US. Someone else (perhaps even yourself) brought human rights into this.

Well then "something needs to change" is as brilliant a comment as the average kindergarten child's painting is a masterpiece.

I agree that one clear consistent message of deficit reduction would be better than the very confusing demands being made by Republicans now.

But that has been a problem since 2011 and one reason I do not want Boehner to be speaker.

As for your slander of armed stickups ect, Obama is just as responsible for the shutdown as the Tea Party are.

You stopped reading because your mind is closed to the truth. You brought up the homicides and crime and I informed you of the facts. Deal with it.

"Hey guys, the name's Leffe. Despite the evidence, I know the US is soon going to lose its power! Why? Because the Chinese said so! Oh I think I'll be inclined to agree with them, despite any (*)(*)(*)(*)ing evidence whatsoever. Lol!

It's alright bra, I'd be jealous too in your situation, it's perfectly normal.

And with dear leader MaO'Bama at the helm that is a real possibility. The damage wrought by this cluless and classless loser is monsterous.

China isn't worried about our morals so much as our financial soundness, specifically the health of the dollar. They're holding a lot of bonds and have long been stuck with trading internationally in USD, after all. Financial markets don't like the kind of uncertainty that is assailing our currency and our economy right now, and they certainly don't like irresponsible fiscal policies.

Particularly the Chinese ones. Very few empires can bounce back to the top after their fall but China did it a few times and it's on the way to do it again.

The Chinese are rejecting Obama like any thinking person would. They know a loser when they see one so why wouldn't they want to abandon ship?

Agrred 100%. My point is that to maintain hegemony, you need a large degree of moral highground.

Yes, the "something" we think about is primarily the jawdropping fiscal incompetence which your financiers displayed recently, and who prompted the global recession we're now enjoying, courtesy of the idiots on Wall Street. Thanks for that.
We also care because of the dumb alliance we have with America means that we're treaty-bound to get involved in whatever pointless war you start, and where our soldiers end up getting killed in order that your leader's monstrous egos are satisfied. Thanks for that too.

You are aware that the EU is the largest trading partner of the USA? You know that, right?

EU: totaling approximately $636.4 billion in total trade
    Canada: 616.7
    China: 536.2
    Mexico: 494

Incidentally, the EU is also China's largest trading partner. You should care very much about this relationship.

They're talking in regards to the silent currency wars that are happening everyday. The dollar is getting devalued to make it more pretty for foreign interests, but each country is in a race towards the bottom to make their currency worth less to competitors to invite capitalist bull(*)(*)(*)(*) there and gain the profits benefits of actual PRODUCTION.

Why do you think we aren't the bastion of producing items for other countries in terms of real production outside of agriculture that we can support that other countries can't and why we outsource so much?
