    The "dark side" of the Moon isn't DARK. But it's on the opposite side of the Moon from the lunar landings, so nothing of Apollo would be seen there.

    Luna is tidally locked to the Earth just as Mercury is tidally locked to the sun. The same face always faces Earth, but the phases are reversed on the far side. When the near side is in shadow, the far side is lit.

    Mercury is not really tidally locked to the sun. The day on mercury does last longer than year, but each side does get the sunshine. If it was tidally locked to the sun only one side of the planet would be exposed to it.
