    Too bad but it was unlikely. They made a good showing in an election that should have been an overwhelming Republican victory.

    All this means is that the Rs don't go into full panic mode yet. But once the traitor and chief goes down, all hell will break loose.

    We also need to understand the other factors such as his opponents history of voter suppression and the fact that Ossoff did not excite or inspire true Progressives and Liberals as some of his policy stances showed him to be a conservative Democrat...not a Bernie type at all.

    That doesn't make sense to me. The reporting I saw indicated he didn't go after Trump. And she really didn't claim his support. They ran on traditional right vs left battleground issues. It was really about Nancy Pelosi and control of Congress.

    These folks gave us Newt and they still haven't learned, You can't fix dumb.

    Exactly. Just because Hillary successfully managed to carpetbag her way into a job doesn't mean everyone can. And i think there is less likelihood of one carpet bagging his way into a seat that the opposing party held for years. At least we weren't surprised that NY elected Hillary. They always elect the Democrats.

    I think they mean in general and this Ossoff clearly has shown that he does not stand for a Progressive and/or a Liberal agenda.

    And barely won.

    Of course the Democrats spent money on trying to win the seat.

    There is one or two elections going why would they not spend money there?

    If you play cards and you want to be successful at bluffing you have to spend money on cards
    that are no good.

    I know. The geographic breakdown is unfortunate. We will have the two rich and free coastal regions, and the impoverished "heartland" run by churches or the KKK or some authoritarian regime.
