It's perfectly clear that you know perfectly well that Charlie Chester is a CNN Director, which is why you have nothing further to say! :roflol:

Yep. Seems obvious Project Veritas invented "Charlie Chester" to create that propaganda piece. Some people will believe anything as long as it supports their bias.

And CNN just let it slide without saying that nobody by that name works for them! Not even @Phyxius will buy that ridiculous, moronic, illogical CRAP! :roflol:

Why do you expect them to feed the trolls?

Tossing around words like "ridiculous, moronic, illogical" doesn't make your argument any better, it just makes you sound angry and defensive.

Yes, responding to trolling is called "feeding the trolls". The game of trolling is all about eliciting a response from the target, and the best way to deal with it is to ignore it.

So no matter how much Project Veritas slanders CNN, they wouldn't come out and defend themselves? :roflol:

I have no idea what they will do in the future, I am just saying it is best to not feed the trolls.

Yeah - what ever - at the end of the day it is not some big secret that CNN is agenda driven - and all to happy to "Meddle" in our electoral process on behalf of the various benefactors.

Over at MSNBC "where journalism goes to die"

    https://alethonews.com/2018/04/23/msnbc-where-journalism-goes-to-die/

Kind of sad when one needs to go to off continent - to RT in this case - to get the other side of the story.

CNN and MSNBC are in a running gun battle to determine which is the most corrupt, biased network.

Time out there, Cowboy, you're gonna have to define "real and present danger" from your perspective before we can even begin to discuss your points. And it's been my experience that your average Trump hater wouldn't know the difference between a Republic and a "true democracy" if they had one in each hand.

Even if Trump is as horrible as you've stated (I started to say implied, but you went way beyond that), is that really the role of the press to do such a thing?

    1) the " claim that Trump was a Traitor and security threat is unsupported nonsense
    2) It is not for the media to make that call - the media is there to report the facts .. not serve a political agenda - as is the case in Totalitarian regimes.

It is disturbing that you would happily remove one of the safeguards against totalitarianism - on the basis of a political preference.

Not aware that there is a law prohibiting media bias? If you don't like CNN, you have the freedom to change the channel. I believe there was an "equal time" provision in the past, but believe that requirement no longer exists.

Right. I believe it originated in 1949, probably largely due to the advent of television (although it applied to radio as well) and the limited number of television broadcasters (ABC, NBC and CBS). Reagan's threat to veto any attempt to codify the doctrine in law, in 1987, essentially doomed the doctrine and opened up talk radio and subsequently, I suppose, cable news. The Internet has taken it further, to a point - imo - where it seems that it is difficult to sort truth from fiction.

It's a tough call. Who determines "truth?" Or, for that matter, even journalistic ethical standards? At one time, I guess, academia did. There were well-known and prestigious journalism departments at a few major universities. These still exist, but seem to be too fragmented to wield much counterweight to the major cable networks or talk radio. I remember a time when even Limbaugh described himself as chiefly "an entertainer"and didn't take himself so seriously. Cable and the Internet and an anti-government regulatory environment on both the extreme left and right probably prevent any serious attempt to restore something akin to the Fairness Doctrine. And, of course, right or wrong, a pretty unrestrained press/media has been with us since the beginning. The Federalist Papers were written primarily to secure the ratification of the Constitution in New York State...i.e. Federalist propaganda. The Bill of Rights itself was a promise made by the Federalists to counter the anti-Federalist broader objections to the Constitution and the shift of power from State to Federal government. I think the key lies more in the critical thinking skills of the electorate, than through corruptable government regulation...but it's an arguable issue.

If that's the case, we're doomed! lol
I agree with you, it is almost impossible to regulate the truth, so the next best thing is to improve people's critical thinking skills. Much easier said than done, though.
People like to hear validation of what they already believe.

True...when my kids started college I told them that they could study whatever they wanted, but I encouraged them to take Logic and Statistics...the former taught you how to think and the latter how to calculate the odds that your thinking was correct. Happy to say they took my advice and all are doing well today.

Yes, I did. I posted their media bias ratings, where the verdict is LOW CREDIBILITY.

Overall, we rate Project Veritas Right Biased and Questionable based on the promotion of misleading videos and several failed fact checks.
