I didn't follow the link to the Bezos Post. He actually wants money for his propaganda. It appears someone is covering for Obama. On April 10, 2016, Obama publicly instructed the FBI to end the investigation, saying “She would never intentionally put America in any kind of jeopardy”. (I added the bold.) He even gave Comey the word to use to explain why he was recommending the end of investigating Clinton. Neither the root nor the word itself exists anywhere in the statute.

On July 5, 2016, magically enough, Comey used a form of the word Obama told him to use 6 times in his excuse for not recommending indictment:

"Our investigation looked at whether there is evidence classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on that personal system, in violation of a federal statute making it a felony to mishandle classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way, or a second statute making it a misdemeanor to knowingly remove classified information from appropriate systems or storage facilities."

"I should add here that we found no evidence that any of the additional work-related e-mails were intentionally deleted in an effort to conceal them."

"We have conducted interviews and done technical examination to attempt to understand how that sorting was done by her attorneys. Although we do not have complete visibility because we are not able to fully reconstruct the electronic record of that sorting, we believe our investigation has been sufficient to give us reasonable confidence there was no intentional misconduct in connection with that sorting effort."

"Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent."

"All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct;"

That word that exists only in Obama's April 10 interference in the investigation, again, is not to be found in the statute.

Well, we kill civilians in middle east, but also worry that there might be another 9/11.

If we didn't waste time worry about that, there might have been a few more of those already.

James Comeys only enemy, is James Comey. IMO he wanted to eclipse J. Edgar Hoover. It explains his erratic actions. He goes after Clinton ... spotlight fades ... on to Flynn ... Comey was in it for himself. Nothing noble, or heroic ... Loser.

Wow!. That's a great tactic! And when are you guys planning to start?

I understand it'll take you guys a while to get used to transitioning from Alternative facts to real facts. But it's worth it. You can do it. Maybe we can help. Even though, for us, it's not a "tactic"... it's just the natural thing to do

Oh... I wish it were just "outrageous". I'm afraid at this point it's way beyond that.

Of course Comey is an egomaniac. But that's no reason to fire him, or any high government official. If it were, Trump would have received the pink slip the day after his inauguration.

Check the link in #37 ... Comey's going to burn. What was getting close was the unmasking inquiries ... Comey's a co-conspirator.

You won't find much sympathy for Comey from me. If he is going to burn, he deserves it. As do so many other Republicans.

    Trump's day:

Pushed the US ally Prime Minister of Montenegro, who is currently investigating an attempted coup by Russian-aligned forces.
Tells NATO that there is no mutual defense pact.
Notifies everyone that the Trump Admin is reviewing sanctions on Russia.

Like the signature. Trump referring to the German auto industry who's been caught cheatind pollution emission standards, and falsifying fuel economy for a decade. I thought carbon emissions were bad ... I thought Obama raised the fuel economy standards ... He certainly didn't raise the issue yesterday with Merkel.

It is not clear who Comey was working for, but there is little evidence that he was working to protect the interests of America or Americans. Here are three things that Mueller might want to look into:

“Here are 10 of Comey's biggest embarrassments at the FBI:

    1. Before he bombed the Boston Marathon, the FBI interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev but let him go. Russia sent the Obama Administration a second warning, but the FBI opted against investigating him again.

    2. Shortly after the NSA scandal exploded in 2013, the FBI was exposed conducting its own data mining on innocent Americans; the agency, Bloomberg reported, retains that material for decades (even if no wrongdoing is found).

    3. The FBI had possession of emails sent by Nidal Hasan saying he wanted to kill his fellow soldiers to protect the Taliban -- but didn't intervene, leading many critics to argue the tragedy that resulted in the death of 31 Americans at Fort Hood could have been prevented.”

If your point was that Trump does and says thing way beyond outrageous, which are dangerous for this country. Then yes...
