Now it comes out, that at some point, Comey was informed the Lynch memo was phony. Comey, undeterred went forward with his inquest. Comey never revealed that Lynch had been exonorated in the matter. Comey clearly committed perjury before committee when he gave his "mildy nauseated" version of the events. http://thehill.com/homenews/news/ja...email-investigation-russian-intelligence-fake Others within the agency must have know Comey had become a liability to the FBI. McCabe, even after Comeys firing concealed this? Comey must have realized he was doing exactly what Putin intended. Treason?

Turns out Comey knew Putin was the source of the phony Lynch memo. He, for reasons unknown, acted as if it were genuine, and delivered Putin his intended outcome. Naturally Comey committed perjury before committee to conceal his crimes. Others within the agency were complicit. McCabe, had to have known, and said nothing. You need a new meme ...

Clinton couldn't BE a more bitter old shrew, could she? It was like a pity party the hag had organized for herself ... It's bad enough the snowflakes have to come to terms with the uselessness of their cultural sciences degrees ... why subject them to Hillarys victimology sermon?

I'm sorry but you must've responded to the wrong post with this copypasta from your "replies" file. Note that my post doesn't even mention Comey, Lynch, or McCabe.

SPECIAL PROSECUTOR! SPECIAL PROSECUTOR! We need a Special Prosecutor to get to the bottom of this. And he'd better be good because the bottom is really deep down.

Did you see the link in #51? Comey's really got problems.

A couple of days earlier it was reported Comey acted on the Russian report that he did not know was fake. Then all the brains quickly got together and realized that made their new darling look stupid. So CNN quickly reported he knew all along it was fake, no dummy he.......

Now this is an actual believable theory, not only does it match up with everything we know but it's REALLY how the Kremlin does business. The Kremlin doesn't leave tracks, it doesn't confirm or deny. It leaves wiggle room for plausible deniability. That doesn't exist in the Trump scenario, but it exists a lot in the use of Comey.

I think Putin likely covered all his bases. He could have easily orchestrated the innocuous meetings between Kislyak, and Trump staffers. Just to plant a seed of suspicion. Because Comey bit the first time with Lynch, Putin fed Steele misinformation on Trump.

Either way, this ends badly for James Comey. McCabe was already being investigated on another matter entirely ... this is sure to make things worse. Before contemplating a "special" anything, we need to find a new director for the FBI.

My "special prosecutor" was satire. We need a special prosecutor like we need as hole in the head.

Actually, I think a special prosecutor is needed even more. But it needs to expand to all facets of the election, including the servers.

Gotcha ... Alan Dershowitz was on CNN a moment ago suggesting a congressional panel like the one for 9/11. His contention is that the hearings would be public, witnesses sworn, attorneys present. He feels it's more equitable and transparent.

I think the individual committees should each investigate a seperate facet. 1 for Russian ties. 1 for NSA FBI surveillance. 1 for unmasking / leaks. Let McCabe / Mueller collect and provide the evidence to the committees.

Although we have a lot of lawyers in Congress, I have no confidence in their ability to replace grandstanding and party politics with an unbiased quest for truth.

A special prosecuter will not hold open hearings. They'll either indict or not seek to indict. What will your reaction be if no charges are brought at all? Or if Clinton is the only one charged? Obama?

You are STILL blaming this on the dems and the msm?

Tell your thugs to quit lying. That ought to help.

    1. It should be held in secret, just like any other criminal investigation. Even more so because of so many classified matters that are mixed up in the investigation. Another good reason to keep it secret is to protect the identies of those that are dragged into the investigation and proven to have no fault.

    2. What the special investigator finds has no bearing on whether it was a thorough and unbiased investigation. Sometimes, like in the Clinton email case (IMO), the investigators know wrong was done, but they just don't have the smoking gun to prove it. By keeping the investigation secret, it gives the govt a chance to revisit a case without it being corrupted by too much info.becpming public.

Truthfully, I initially laid the blame on the DNC. Now it appears certain Comey is deeply responsible as well. The peripheral crimes leading up to, and subsequent to witch hunt however includes a great many more. Clapper, Rogers, Rice, Farkas, Brennan, Clinton, Schultz, and Obama. I've reserved judgement on Lynch & McCabe.

If not for Comey mucking it up, and leakers providing for so much of this being played out in public view, you and I would be in agreement. If only Comey had verified his evidence, and kept the lid on his suspicions and findings. But ...
